It is one of the worst places you can go to order indian food. My wife ordered very mild paneer masala and when we got it home it was so spicy that we could just not eat it. I called the restaurant to talk about it and instead of listening to my complaint they instead went on the offensive. The manager gave his name to me as Sam. If i were the owner of this restaurant i will have some people with manners taking the customer complaints. I am for sure never ever going to order food from here either take out or dine in.

I hate the service, very bad. I celebrated the my son's first birthday party, they changed the Menu a day before without host consent and charged me more than agreed price. The waiters are rude. Manager disappears and sends waiter to collect the money for the party. he doesn't want listen anything and says 'this is the bill you pay '..even when you are trying to explain that's the amount is wrong. Very embarrassing situation. My recommendation to all new parents who want to celebrate Birthday parties , Don't go by the big banquet hall when the service and food sucks ..

I am hardly a mile from this place and hadn't tried this out because I am a big non-veg eater and Mayuri offers only veg food. So, finally I went there for a baby shower and I was really impressed with its big decorated hall for hosting your private parties. The food was tasty and not very spicy. I loved their pakoras and hot samosas. I would definitely recommend it to my veg friends.

I was there on 03/11/06 at about 7:30 PM. They kept us waiting even with emtpy tables, we finally got our (unclean) table at 7:50 or so. After that, the wait-staff did not show up for a good 20 minutes. We were not served the munchers (I guess they call them papadums). When asked, the waiter blunty said "we are too busy". Now comes the fun part - they took our order and after 45 mins, they ended up putting wrong order on our table twice! Between this, a waiter also dropped a whole tray near our table. At the end, when we were working on our meal, they dropped the check on our table, without bothering to ask for any dessert, or boxes for our meal. I carried leftover naan in my hands to the cashier to get them boxed, on which the cashier/manager gave me an aluminium foil and a brown bag. I gave them a penny in tip, which I had never done in the past, but I doubt if the manager got the message.

Anyway, if you are an Indian, avoid this place like a plague coz you'd be treated like second class citizens. Their food isnt so great anymore either, I'd much rather try Sitara or Passage to India, where atleast they treat their Indian customers like real people.

So much for driving 40 miles to have a saturday dinner.

PROS: None
CONS: Service, Attitude

Mayuri is some good eatin'. Although the ambience leaves a little to be desired, the food is outstanding. It has a great variety of options. The staff is well meaning and there is always plenty of prompt seating. We love it, because you get naan, rice, and your entree all in one price, while other restaurants will charge you separately. We highly recommend it...especially if you are going with family.

I have been to many indian restaurants in this area for lunch buffet and Mayuri is by far the best. They have a wide variety of dishes available, not to mention the rotating menu of delectable desserts. Even when I lived in another state I looked forward to my holiday visits back home and a trip to Mayuri.

Staff is very friendly, and this is the only restaurant that sometimes gives 2 complimentary starters, which are Tomato soup and Papadam. So far i have not come across any restaurant serving 2 complimentary starters.
Its Wednesday night buffet was out of ordinary, consisting of exotic dishes. And the price is also average
