Unfortunately since the owner Wendy is no longer on site often service has gone down hill. Our family has done 6 weddings there and the last 2 have been horrible. We normally order custom dresses since they offer free alterations on custom gowns. My sister got married in 06/03 and the alterations were done so badly she had to pick up her dress on the way to Tahoe and dress train still wasn't correct. I wanted to prove to my girls this was not the way Wendy does business. Now with my wedding coming up 11/2007 I wanted to redeem Enchanted Gowns with my family. I set up the first fitting for 04/15/07 this had to be postponed due the Wendy having 2 family parties that weekend. So we reschedueld for 05/19/07, I had to call to confirm and was then told they wanted to rescheduel again, unfortunately 2 girls flew in from out of state and we couldn't change date. So Wendy did the right thing and kept our appointment. My last girl had her fitting 06/16/07. Instead of putting the order for my dresses in she held off the entire order until the very end of July. I called 08/08/07 to see when the dresses ourld be in was advised 10/27/07, with the wedding 11/07/2007 out of state this wouldn't work. After leaving messages for 3 days I finally got a call back from Wendy stating she held off on the order incase one of my bridal party was pregnant. (Wendy never called to make sure it was ok to hold off ordering). Then she promised me the dresses were being rushed and would be in the first of October. The dresses finally came in 10/18/07 at 3:00 pm. She ordered the dresses so large that the 200.00 dresses are now requiring 150.00 for the alterations. Wendy is not taking any responsiblty and not trying to even compensate for her error. This has almost ruined my wedding and it still could.
