The YMCA Northeast Sacramento Swim Program held at El Camino High School is so great! The Saturday morning classes taught by Mike are fantastic. The pool is so nice and well maintained. The price is great. Parking is easy. The instruction is awesome. This is our fourth summer with Mike. He is so patient with children even the face of a screaming fearful child. He builds confidence in children, helps eliminate the fear of the water and a new environment, and teaches the children swimming skills that will last the rest of their life. He makes it fun too!

The YMCA Northeast Sacramento location housed on Eastern Avenue uses the El Camino High School pool, which is such a nice pool, for lessons. Mike is one of the instructors and hands down is the best! The Saturday morning program can't be beat. My 5 year old is now with Mike for her fourth summer in a row. He has taught her how to swim with confidence. He is one of the most patient people I've met even in the face of a screaming child. That is sometimes part of the process to learn to swim, by the way. He helps the children overcome their fears. He has talent with children that is so hard to find. The YMCA Northeast Swim Program is such a good price and awesome experience for the kids. 5 Stars for the swim program!

this is a very simple YMCA facility. They offer summer programs for kids like day camp and swim lessons. They also have an outdoor pool open during the summer. They offer lap swim, lessons, and family time. This Y also has a small gym room and offers Jazzercise. they don't offer alot of services, but the swimming pool is nice.

PROS: cheap monthly cost
CONS: very small facility
