Full Of Beans Coffee House is awesome! It is a full service coffee shop with ice cream and fresh baked goods in the morning.
The location couldn't be more perfect. Last time I counted it took me less than 50 steps to be on a sandy beach.
On a cold, cloudy day there is nothing better than a hot mocha, or macchiato. and on the hot days, I have a blended Latte. Plus Judy always does a great job with the muffins, croissants, and other baked goods. The prices are what you would expect from a full service coffee house, but the atmosphere and quality make up for it.
Try it your self next time you are south of the 101 on seaward.

I love coming to this little hole in the wall coffee house. I've NEVER had a problem with any of the staff. I live right around the corner and frequent the shop regularly. They have awesome ice blended mochas and milkshakes. I even got a rootbeer float there once. Took me back to my childhood. This little shop is just steps from the sand on the end of Seaward. It's a great place to go. I read the previous review and I was shocked. It's obvious that the person writing had a personal and childish vendetta against the worker. Well, I have been served by the named girl, and she makes an excellent drink. She is cute, friendly and quick. I would highly reccommend going to this coffee house.

This tiny beach town place has great coffee and a five star location, not to mention the cute little patio, and all the good vibes of the morning crowd out with their dogs. I recently started to visit Ventura more often from Northern California, as I met and fell in love with one of the locals. Going to this coffee shop every morning was becoming a regular ritual. The ritual included, waking up with crazy hair, walking the beach, grabbing a coffee, reading the paper in the tiny cafe, and walking home. The staff, a young girl named Antoinette, seemed friendly as any coffee shop employee, until two days ago.
First, I must start by saying that I was so upset by the incident that occurred, that I almost wrote the editor of the VC Reporter. I was never a yelpster before today, but signed up specifically to express my experience. I am a 26-year-old fashion designer with my own label and not much time for anything but work lately. I try to be nice to everyone, as they all may be potential customers or someone I will run into later. I try to stay on task and mind my own business. With that said, I'll get back to the Full of Beans review.

So, two days ago, my boyfriend and I walk into the coffee shop, me in my leggings and an oversized long sleeve t-shirt I slept in. We sit down, drink our coffee and read the paper. Antoinette, the single staff, asked my boyfriend, who she knows well enough to have his number, if he had his phone on him. He said no. They shoot the shit for a second and she walks back to the counter to serve other customers. About twenty minutes later, upon our arrival home, my boyfriend told me that Antoinette was texting him rude messages about me. In the text she said, "Is that your new girlfriend...hehe" and he responded, "Yes, are you jealous?" Not knowing where this was going yet. She replied, "Ahaha. Jealous of what? Her annoying laugh, her stripper tight pants, or her ugly face? The only thing thats decent looking is her hair!"

Since this was our morning ritual and favorite place to get a coffee to start the day, I was crushed. How could someone say that stuff about me? To my man of all people. He was pissed. He had been going there for the past three years and knew Antoinette strictly as the coffee shop girl. In an effort to repair the unfortunate situation, I walked back to the coffee shop and asked her to tell me what her name was and the name of the owner. I asked her why she sent my boyfriend those messages about me and reminded her she had a job in customer service. She said, in front of an other customer, that I looked like a slut in my pajamas. Let me remind you, readers, the only skin that I showed was my face and hands. When I called the owner to tell him what happened with his employee that morning, he didn't offer me any sort of restitution or resolve. I told him I would never continue to employ someone who represented my business in that way or any unprofessional manner. I also let my boyfriend talk to him. He told the owner that I was thinking about contacting the editor of the VC Reporter and his response to that, was that he would sue us for slander. I don't see how we are going to be able to ever go back to the coffee shop now. My boyfriend has purchased over 1,000 cups of coffee at Full of Beans, and this is how they treated us for it.
