24 Hour Fitness

Its also tough to find parking, the equipment is good and the staff are attentive to their clients but outside of teaching..no one polices the gym areas or spa areas...lots of weights lying on the floor, no signs for people to put away their weights and they are left on machines and walking areas. Pity coz the equipement is very good overall.

Another unsafe condition are the spa areas..most people walk straight off the gym floor without showering and enter the spa sauna and steam rooms in their sweaty workout clothes...I have witnessed men and women doing this and also taking off their shoes without showering and entering the hot tub!YUK.

I got early in the AM and it is already crowded. The locker room is way too crowded. The gym itself is very clean, but the locker room is not. Broken sinks showers and lockers are a daily occurrence.

I only use location on off-peak hours so I never have trouble getting a machine, but knowing how busy other locations can get, this seems to be a small gym, as far as 24 hours fitness locations go. And I don't like walking through the whole outdoor mall area, past the movie goers at the theater next door - it is a weird vibe when you just want to focus on getting to the gym. The parking situation is really good though - always a spot and free for 2 hours, you can't beat that!

PROS: Validated, free 2 hour parking, always a spot to park!
CONS: Walking through the whole mall in your gym gear is awkward.

The 24 hr Fitness in the Galleria is good, but it is too crowded. Don't expect to be able to go and get on a treadmill or piece of equipment between 4:00-8:00pm. The equipment and staff are nice though.

I like this gym.Its located inside of Sherman Oaks galleria, which is a very nice place. The gym is very popular among young people. I like the fascility and stuff is very friendly.
The only thing i don't like about it is that it's ovecrowded all the time.

This gym is locared inside of Sherman Oaks Galleria. It's a very convinient location, so you don't have to look for a parking spot for your car, you can just park in the galleria parking lot. It has a nice fascillity, but it's too crowded.
The best time to hit it would be early in the morning.
The membership is affordable.

24 Hour is in a good location and you have 2 hours to get your workout in. All the equipment is perfect for your needs. Beautiful people in the day hours (avoiding the rush), so there's eye candy for the inspirational workout. Top of the line facility

CONS: Not all are 24 Hours (misleading)

I thought this place opening was going to be great. It wasn't really. The place is jammed and I swear the people at the front are aspiring DJs and actors because they get on the speaker and stay stupid stuff which is annoying. The company in general isn't bad, I often go to a different location, this place in particular attracts people I prefer not to workout around.

I have been a member of this 24 Hour Fitness in the Galleria next to the movie theaters since it opened about two or more years ago. It is the Magic Johnson 24 hour fitness because apparently Magic threw his name on the wall and contributed a few of his old jerseys and magazine covers to help spruce up the place. I actually did see Magic working out there a few times when it first opened but havent seen him since. The classes are pretty good and the equipment stays in good shape generally. However, the downside to this gym is that they keep signing up more and more new members and the lines for the machines are getting longer and longer and longer. Sometimes, I have to wait for 20 minutes to get on a treadmill and I have noticed that the equipment is breaking down more and more regularly due to the overuse. I just don't think the gym can keep adding people without it reaching a point of breakdown.
