Janet's Montana Cafe

The best in Alpine. Best for lunch, or dinner. Just good home cooking with ample portions, good service, and good atmosphere.It is easy to find right on Alpine Blvd. It is a great breakfast stop on your way east.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere. It is like being transported to Montana literally. Very rustic, very relaxing. A cold beer, a sandwich, a steak , a hamburger,whatever you want it's all here and you can bring the kids. Very family friendly and Janet is charming.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Setting and food are perfect and could not have been better. I take my guests there and without fail, they vote it to be the BEST of any other. I agree and consider it a TREAT each time I go.

Besides that, I would say that Janet not only knows HOW to run a good restaurant, but she is a BEAUTIFUL lady with a smile that lights up the entire place.

I just love the location of this Janet's. I could sit and admire it for hours. In the quaint city of Alpine, the food is very good and priced reasonably. The servers often are family members and do a great job.

Janet's is the best place in Alpine for breakfast. Though not as well known as the
"famous" Alpine breakfast place, the food is far better and the service is beyond compare. I have pretty much decided it's where I will be spending my "going out to breakfast" bucks in the future.

PROS: Plentiful, favorful food, fabulous, cheerful service.
CONS: Can't think of any!
