Pros: I was lucky enough to deal with Maria and Lily during the process of picking my wedding dress. They were so sweet and supportive, with good ideas and a "we can change anything if you want" attitude. Lily was very patient with me. I need to see things, so I tried on a couple dresses two or three times, and she was very sweet and helpful the entire time. My husband got the tuxes from Mr. Tux, and that went well, also. We dealt with Sergio (the younger), who is very accommodating and also filled with good ideas. He really tries to make you happy.

Cons: One time I dealt with the older man (maybe also named Sergio?) and he was very short. He made me feel unwelcome and intrusive, and he blamed one of our groomsmen for giving him the wrong measurements. Another time, an short, past middle-age woman with probably teased hair treated my sister like three year olds with chocolate all over our hands. She followed us around, told me to bring only my mother to pick a dress (after I JUST introduced her to my sister, who was standing right next to me), and gave me tips on how to pick dresses "for my body type" to make me look better. She was rude.

Anyway, I guess my point is that this place really can be wonderful, and it does have wonderful staff. Just try to avoid the jerks?

Before renting any tuxedos at Mr. Tux read carefully over ALL the reviews. I made the mistake of not taking them seriously. Take it from me: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I had a large wedding party. All nine of my groomsmen went here. The first problem was the fitting. Sergio follows the "one size fits all" philosophy. None of the suits fit anyone very well at all. He casually took a measurement of my waist over my jeans and jacket which resulted in a loose fit. If you care about fit like I do - you will be disappointed. Secondly, all my groomsmen are recent college graduates - none of them had much money to spend. The suit I picked was listed at $100 dollars and we were supposed to get a 20% discount for our large bridal party ... but by the time my best man walked out of the building he was charged at $120 dollars! This would make sense if we had picked a vest/tie combination that carried an additional charge - but we didn't. I don't know what kind of whacky number crunching goes on to arrive at this price. If you would like more vest/tie options its $35 dollars per groomsmen - an additional charge that I did not care for. The selection of included vest/tie combos is VERY limited so it is difficult to avoid this charge. Beyond that Sergio (the owner/operator) tried to give me a vest/tie combination that I did not pick - which was not very stylish at all - two days before the wedding date and he wanted to charge me $35 dollars for it. When I called him on it, he copped attitude. After arguing with him for a few minutes he reluctantly catered to my wishes. After experiencing all this I really resented having to pay him. He is a stubborn and obstinate old man and he will try to do whatever he thinks is best regardless of what you want even though its your wedding!

I was treated very well by Maria and her staff. They made me feel like I was special...not just another bride...like many other chain bridal shops. The dresses are beautiful. I found the vintage unique wedding dress that I was looking for. The price was reasonable too.

The seamstresses at Chantilly bridal made my wedding gown from scratch. It is gorgeous! I can't believe how beautiful this gown is, and my friends tell me it looks like couture. They were very careful to create a dress that was exactly the one that I dreamed of. I am so glad that I took a chance and commissioned a wedding gown from Chantilly bridal. Customer service was wonderful! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

I would reccommend this bridal shop to anyone looking for a dress. They have a great selection of dresses, fancy to plain. BUT, if it's service that you are looking for, don't go here. Their customer service is horrible and you'll get more accomplished if you just look for your own dress than try to track down an employee to help you out.

I have been planning my wedding for about six months and needed a dress quickly and one that could be made temple ready for religous reasons. I went to Cruz's about five months before the wedding date and the owner told me that I would have to buy a dress that day in order to ever get it in time and that there was no way to make it temple ready. She told me I was going to have to throw on a jacket and that was my only option. I felt so stressed and it made my first dress experience horrible. I told my mom and fiancee that I wanted to leave and I went to Chantilly's that same day.

At Chantilly's, they told me that I would have plenty of time to order a dress and they would rush order it for me. I tried on several and all of the people that worked there were attentive and helping me. I finally picked my dress, and the owner, Maria, ordered it that same day. She ordered it as a tube top and literally had to rebuild the entire top of my dress by hand. She called me when it came in, had me come in for a fitting, and re did the whole top of the dress. She even hand sewed all of the beading to add to the top to make the dress look like it was made like that. She did a fabulous job and absolutely everyone gave me compliments on how beautiful my dress was. Everything was ready on time and she did anything I wanted. If I didn't like something, her and anyone else there did whatever I wanted until they got it right. I couldn't have asked for a more professional, fun, and talented seamstress as her. She made my dress shopping and experience wonderful with no stress. Cruz's forced me to put on dresses I didn't want to and told me I had no other options. I have referred everyone to Chantilly's and I would work with them any time!

I purchased a dress at Chantilly Bridal on April 5th. We had called 3 times to make an appointment but no one answered or returned calls. That should have been a sign. When we finally got someone on the phone they said that no appointment was needed. My sister and I went to the store and waited 30 minutes and asked 2 times if someone could help us. Finally, as we were walking out of the store, folks came over to help us. We wound up finding a dress and ordering it. On April 6th I called and left a voice mail asking that they not place the order until I could speak to them about the color. I called back when their store opened at 10am on April 7th and spoke to Sergio Hernandez. He said he did not know if the dress had been ordered and had no way of tracking that information. He told me to call back at 1pm and speak with Maria to see if the dress had been ordered. I called at 1pm on April 7th and was told that Maria was unavailable and that they were not sure if the dress had been ordered and that I needed to send an e-mail to chantillybridalandmrtux@yahoo.com requesting a color change on the order. I sent this e-mail and cc'd my sister (who the dress was for). My sister received the e-mail but I never heard from Chantilly Bridal. On April 9th I called to clarify if the order had been changed and was told that no one in the store was available to help me and that they would call back. I received a voice mail at 3:30 on April 9th stating that the e-mail I sent was never received. I called back and explained the problems I had encountered and asked that they cancel the order because I had contacted them numerous times to handle this issue with no success. They agreed to cancel the order but charged me $45 to do so claiming that I had signed a contract when I signed the receipt. I tried to explain that given the horrible service I felt they should waive the fee. The owner yelled at me on the phone, told me she wished I had never bought a dress from her, told me that they had charge me $45 to pay the sales person who helped me for an hour, and then told me she was too busy to talk to me. She made me call back the next day to process the cancellation and then would not talk to me when I called. I heard her say in the background, "That is the girl from yesterday..put her on hold." Then she had another woman speak to me and was telling her what to say in the background. I tried to explain that while I had signed a contract they had voided it by failing to provide any customer service. They would not help me. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and saw that 4 other complaints had been filed in the last 36 months. Go across town to Cruz's Bridal. They are amazing!
