This is one of the small restaurants that you can find when you visit or live in the Manhattan beach area in LA. All the locals know it but not the visitors. It has incredible omelets and just a fabolous breakfast menu. A lot of locals go there before going to the beach so it is always crowded but so worth it.

This place used to be great. My family has been going here since day 1, but we had to ask four times for condiments several times for the check and countless times for refills of coffee and water. Food was slow slow slow coming out.

This is a great spot in the North End in Manhattan Beach. Lots of locals go there, and very popular on the weekends. There can be a line, but the tables turnover pretty fast. Daily specials with good portions. I personally love the

The Local Yolk is one of my favorite breakfast stops. Practically all the dishes contain hearty portions and are delicious! I espcially like the omlettes. They have a large selection of omlettes, which are just superb.

One item I would warn customers about is the espresso drinks. I wasn't very impressed with the lattes or cappucinos. They seemed a bit weak and I don't think they're using the highest quality espresso machine to brew the espresso. My drinks were large and acceptable, but I didn't think they were worth the money. I would prefer to go to The Coffee Bean and get my espresso drink there, which by the way is cheaper and better.

Regardless, I have never had a bad meal at The Local Yolk, and on many occasions I have taken friends or family there and everyone has enjoyed their meal and has been very impressed!

Stumbled in here for a Sunday morning breakfast after a fun Saturday night on the town... The Jalapeno Hash was unbelievable... the iced teas come in little glasses, but are refilled lots. Everyone was super nice, we sat down right away,

The perfect place to start your day. Basic homestyle breakfasts. This place gets packed on the weekends, so try to go early. If you aren't a fan of eggs, the banana pancakes are wonderful. They also offer organic coffee. The Local Yolk is open for lunch too, so you can also stop in for a turkey sandwich!
