5 Stars: Great Restaurant for the whole family (by Annette G.)

I have been going to this restaurant for years. The "works" pizza, chicken picatta, and the anipasto salad are my family standards whenever we go in or have take out. Also there is a scallop plate that my husband swears by. Love the family atmosphere, in fact the family that owns this restaurant. the Giacalones have also made us feel like more than family whenever we go in. Great place, great food!

4 Stars: Excellent, traditional Italian food (by Allison C.)

I have never had a bad meal at the Venetian--the food is always terrific. Everything on the menu is "traditional" Italian food. Particularly good items are the linguini with seafood marinara, the pizza and the Caesar salad. Great place to take the family for dinner.

4 Stars: Long Time Favorite (by Jennifer T.)

Always a favorite when in Point Loma. The food is consistently good and the service as well. The Venetian has been around for a very long time and has proven that it has lasting power.

4 Stars: Neighborhood Favorite (by Mark R.)

This place has been around forever, and in the restaurant business, that should tell you something! This is not the place to come to if you are in a hurry - it is a place to relax, savor the food and visit with your friends - those who you came with and those who you will see there!

4 Stars: Great choice (by Mary W.)

The Venetian is a busy local favorite that has been around for years. The pizza only comes in one size, but the crust is thick and the cheese so rich, it's hard to eat more than one piece. I like italian food okay, but I've never craved a plate of spaghetti until I ate the Venetian's spaghetti with (two giant) meatballs. Now I'm getting hungry just thinking about it ...
