I used to come here a lot when I went to Glendale High. Compared to most of the 76 in the area this is by far the cheapest one. They have 8 pumps to fill up from.

Right now I would not recommend this Service Station, if you are from out of town anyways. I had a starter changed out on my car there when I was in town and it went bad 3 months later. I had to have it changed out through my mechanic here where I live in Las Vegas to get it back running. My mechanic here in Las Vegas, who know and have taken all my cars to for at least 3 years now, said he would honor the warranty and return the amount for the part to the customer. When I called and talked to the mechanic there at Glendale 76 he told me that they don't do that. That "no place" does it that he knew of. That the car has to be looked at by them. That I should have brought it to them and they would have put in a new starter if that was the case. That there could be something else wrong withthe car to have caused the problem like the fly wheel. There is nothing else wrong or I would still have the same problem! The teeth of the starter spline still look new and are not damaged or wore down any place. All this even after I told him I was from out of town.I have left my phone numbers with the mechanic to give to the owner but have not received any replies. I have also sent an email to the owner without a reply. I have had to keep calling back to keep things somewhat progressing.I am supposed to meet with the owner this Saturday. The mechanic made sure to remind me again that he told me that they don't return money on warrantied defective parts (don't honor the warranty basically). The mechanic said the owner will do something for me, whatever that means. I just want the money. He should be able to just turn it back into his supplier for a credit or refund himself. I am an electrical business owner and know how I am treated when I have defective items to turn in. Well let you know what happens and whether or not I will change my Review.

After a couple trips on Friday and Saturday morning to this station the mechanic reluctantly honored the warranty and gave me my money back for a defective starter. He believed and wanted me to believe, that the mechanic/shop that I always bring my cars to, found something else wrong like a relay or something and charged me for a starter. So I guess they not only changed out my starter, but changed a relay out too, just to charge me money while performing additional labor. Doesn't make sense to me.

He also did a "test" using a portable battery cart to show that the solenoid was working and the starter would turn. I told him that is not a valid test as the starter was not under load. Under load the starter was drawing too many amps and dragging.

In the end he stated that I was the customer and the customer is always right so he had to "believe" me and give me my money back.

Since I got my money back that is satisfying, but with the hassle my recommendation is on the fence.

The end.

since this is the gas station that is the closest to college, I use it a lot. Prices are still kinda high on the west coast, about 2.50 since I last checked, but 76 is cheaper than the surrounding gas stations by at least a few cents. The machines are never broken (like the chevron is right now) and i've never bad a bad experience there.
