This place is always packed and yet it's just gross. I went once and just didn't go back.

I heard of Patys but never had dined there. I was asked by some friends to join them for brunch. I got to say this place is real good, hot coffee plenty of refills, bacon and eggs were great and I had a pancake instead of toast all I can

My boyfriend and I discovered this diner about a year and a half ago. The servers and hosts are extremely friendly and courteous. The breakfast is fantastic. The original Scrabble is excellent, but then so is everything on the breakfast menu. The lunch/dinner menu is outstanding as well.

Pros: Busboys were more attentive than the waitress. They gave us water and brought us hot sauce when we asked for it.

Cons: Pathetic service, bad attitudes from waitress and manager, bland food. A waste of time, money and stomach space.

Paty's-- LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! It's on Riverside drive-- old diner with the oldest waitress in the world and mimosas. The neat thing is that all of you L.A. health freaks don't even have to worry because you can totally eat off of Paty's "fit menu" and not mess up your protein, low-carb, muscle building diet. In case your wondering, I had the "build your own scramble" which was yummmmy!

I have been to this place for every meal on different days. The food is plentiful and quite good. I really love the breakfasts and I have great salads, steaks, etc. Great service with reasonable prices.

Have been to Paty's before and the food is ok. Very similar to Bob's Big Boy but Paty's tends to be lacking in customer service. When going to Paty's I am always prepared for a wait but on my last visit..... we were completely overlooked

Paty's makes the best grilled cheese and BLT sandwiches around & the coffee is great. This is a popular place for those in the industry, so dont be surprised if you seen someone sitting around studying a script. Outside dining is the best, right on a major thoroughfare. Prices are great, just all around wonderful, tradional sock-hop food. Large portions, too.

PROS: Food, service, great atmosphere
CONS: Parking

This is still the place to be seen on Saturday and Sunday morning. Be prepared to wait (like any place) sit on the patio and enjoy the great weekend weather. There is usually a hand full of well know actors sitting some where on the patio
