Ratings_icons Y.U.M! Great Food, Reliable and Friendly Service, TEN STARS!!

Jeff J.

Skews is a gem. I don't know about the previous poster who must have waited a few hours to eat their food.

I'm a HUGE fan of their Baja Bowl, potstickers and several other dishes. The thing here is that the food is very fresh and the taste is phenomenal.

They've catered two events that I've put on and have even surprised me with custom creations.

If you are downtown in Los Angeles, it's a special treat to enjoy SKEWS. Located right next to the MOCA.

Ratings_icons Craving Skew's

Lisa A.

OMG - I was in LA a few months back for a meeting and had to grab a quick lunch. So I stopped in at Skew's and ordered the Thai Cobb salad. It was so good! I have been craving it since and cannot find anything that compares to it here in Denver.

Ratings_icons Above average among horrible options...

The concept is great - rice, salad, meat. The delivery is second class, as everything gets piled on together. Some people may like that; I'm not one of them. Also, they use more marinade on their meat, which seems bland. Finally, I had underdone chicken there the other day. Last time...

PROS: Nice concept
CONS: Bland and undercooked meat

Hands down the best quick (not fast) food in downtown L.A. Fresh, inexpensive and delicious with lots of choices all served with a super friendly attitude. If you find yourself at the Cal Plaza, you won't find a better place to have lunch!
