It's convenient but the work is sloppy. You are better off driving up ECR to the north end of Menlo Park to Ducky's. It will cost $2 more but your car will be clean without having to do the last 10% of the work yourself.

If you can remember to go on a Wed or Thursday, they have better special pricing--Wed is Ladies Day and Thurs is men's day. They are pretty good with getting all the dirt but if your car is REALLY bad--have them take the car through twice--which they will do but not offer to do.

For the most part, Lozanos does a great job with both the interior and exterior of the car. Some of the workers are better than others. There are always discount coupons in the mail and on grocery receipts, which can save several dollars with each visit. It tends to be very crowded on the weekends. Great place for kids as there is free popcorn, lemonade and coffee. You can also watch the car go through the wash.

Super speedy service perfect for the lunch time car wash. In addition to the free popcorn, lemonaide and coffee, there is always plenty of the discount coupons in the waiting area that can be grabbed before paying. Staff is always courteous.

PROS: Quick and Reasonably Priced
CONS: Have to watch for soap left behind on vehicle running boards

Lozano is a fun place to take your kids to get your car washed. There is plenty of free popcorn, lemonade and coffee to consume while you watch the cars move through the wash line. Quality is only mediocre, so be sure to bring a coupon (found in val-pak mailers, grocery receipts) to feel like you've gotten your money's worth.

I like this place for some unknown reason. The service is very good. I like watching the cars getting washed. The personnel who wipe dry the car do a very good job. The free popcorn and the lemon juice are good too. Its a bit crowded and with a coupon (which is available all over the place .. behind safeway receipts etc), it is very affordable. I highly recommend them.

The lozano's in mountain view is theone we frequent. The coupons arrive in the mail and I love the Ladies day specials. I believe they also honor competitors coupons.
Very clean, Fast and efficient staff.

Who thought going to a car wash would be my kids favorite thing to do! Lozano's is a well organized operation from the moment you drive up. They offer a horse ride, popcorn, and lemonade while you wait, which isn't all that long. My kids love to watch the cars roll onto the conveyer belt to be washed. They barely have time to load up on the popcorn and lemonade before we need to rush out to claim our car! There are marked walkways to the various drying off areas, but watch your step. The wax in the wash makes the pavement very slippery. When the staff is done the just wave their towel and you are ready to go. They do such a good job of cleaning inside and outside that the car looks brand new! Not bad for a 10.00 wash!

Lozano's has several locations along the peninsula, and they've all provided me with really good service. First, the prices are very affordable -- $9 - $12 depending on the day and the coupon (which arrive in the Valpak mailer on a seemingly daily basis). Second, they offer some level of comfort while you wait -- free popcorn, coffee, and lemonade, and a 1-cent horsey ride for kids. Third, they're very fast (even when there's a huge line, which there always is), and do a very good job. The focus is definitely on speed and a "basic" level of cleanliness, but I've always been quite happy with the result.

The process at Lozano's is incredibly fast. Once you get out of the car, a herd of people come and attack your car with a variety of cleaning insturments. Before you know it, your car is spick and span with no fuss and without making a dent in your pocketbook. Also, you can enjoy some free lemonade and snacks while waiting.

CONS: Can be crowded.

We used to wash our cars there when we lived in Palo Alto. They have reasonable pricing plus you often get coupons for few $ off in the mailbox. The washing was always good and it was fast as well.

The definite attraction to this place is the fact that it is brushless. I am always afraid of carwashes, I don't want the careless guys to scratch my car with their cheap brushes. But here i can breath EasiER. I still prefer to do it myself, but this is the place I would take my car to.

This car wash is conveniently located along El Camino in Mountain View. There are long lines during the weekends or on special days where the car washes are priced cheaper. For example, ladies get a discounted price of $9 car wash on Wednesdays. There's really nothing special about this car wash though. Your car just goes though a mechanical cash wash line and then there are some employees who wipe dry your car. I still think it's much cheaper to DIY.
