Sipz Cafe

Great food, for everyone. I'm not a vegetarian, but many of my friends are and this is a place where anyone can enjoy their vegetarian meal. I get the Teriyaki chicken where the "chicken" is really a specially prepared tofu that looks, tastes, and even has chicken texture. They also have tofu "beef".

Service is good, but sometimes spotty, but at least they do not hurry you to finish up and leave.

A veggie friend invited me here and I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical- but the food was great !

I was really impressed with this place (though the decor is nothing special)

I just thought of it because I have a friend visiting next week that doesn't eat meat and I'm definitely taking him here.

If you think that eating vegetarian means munching on a piece of lettuce and a carrot then SIPZ CAFE will prove you wrong! The food was amazing and lived up to its reputation in San Diego!

I wish they would open one of these in coastal North County. I would eat there way more often. Even with the drive, Sipz is always worth it. They never fail to deliver great quality vegetarian food at a good price. Even if you aren't a vegi you will probably love their food as the flavors are so good.

I have had almost everything from the Udon soup to the Cashew Chicken and I have never had something that I didn't like. Prices are less than $10 per person for the main entrees.

In the evenings they have Vegetarian sushi which is really good as an appetizer or as a main course.

It DOES get a little busy sometimes and service can be a bit slow but the staff is genuinely nice tries hard to take care of things. I am thinking about driving down right now after writing this review!

Bought a boba drink there and it was ODD -- I say that only because I have had A LOT of boba drinks in my life, and this one was DIFFERENT. It had way too much condensed milk at the bottom with too much of the chai at the top. The service was alright, but remember to bring cash. When I took out my card to pay, it took another 5 minutes for them to figure out how to use it. :(.

This place mainly has Vegetarian/ Vegan meal options. I ordered the tofu chicken noodles of some sort. You can tell that its not real chicken but its still good. The prices are reasonable and the staff was very accommodating.

Amazing selection of vegetarian friendly foods, it was a very warm and ecofriendly environment. Very attentive staff, very affordable prices for dinner and you get for than you pay for. They are accommodating to the type of food that you like and are willing to make it the way you want it.Came out to be about $7 a person

Sipz has vegan and vegetarian food. The food is delicious and if youre a meat eater you won't even notice that your eating soy "chicken" or "beef" its that good.I really recommend this place if youre vegan or vegetarian or if you want to try out good oriental food.

This is a very different dining experience but a must try! It was so tasty and good and even a meat lover would enjoy it! I reccomend sipz when you are feeling like having something out of the ordinary!

This restaurant has mainly vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are a bit on the side, but all the "meats" are all soy products. they even serve vegan cake which is pretty good.

I love boba and they make wonderful boba smoothies. I love it and I go there atleast once a week...I havent tried the food yet but it is comfy and hip and I will surely try it soon!

Sipz is an awesome vegetarian fusion resteraunt. With its casual yet sophisticated atmosphere with Asian influence this is a great place for people of all diets. From the hamburger loving to the vegan only person there is something for everyone. With items on the menu like curry chicken beef and borcli you are bound to find your favorites. This is the first vegetarian resteraunt I have been to and plan to explore more. I would highly recommend this resteraunt for its great service, awesome food, and for being a reseraunt that is councously aware.

Now, I am not a vegetarian or vegan by any means but Sipz is guilt-free delicious asian food. I love their cashew chicken bowl. It is made with a tofu substitute and you can't tell the difference.

Almost all dishes are vegetarian, The "Fake" meat really does taste like real Meat. the pho is excellent and try one of the bubble "Boba" milk tea drinks. Just yummy.

They have another location in the Clairmont area.

Sipz is a Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant - all the items are vegan except for two which are marked. There are some traditional Vietnamese dishes here such as Pho. Everything I tasted was excellent - the Pho, the lettuce wraps, the spring rolls, the "chicken" - it was all good. The chocolate cake we had was a bit heavy on the frosting.

This is not a fine-dining establishment, but it is a great place to go for excellent food at a reasonable price.

PROS: Everything was great
CONS: Too much frosting on the chocolate cake
