Fresh Choice

My girlfriend and I have gone to this Fresh Choice countless times. They are open until 9pm, and keep the food bars open until 9:15pm.
We have never had any problem coming at around 9pm and staying until 10pm. The workers have usually been very kind in informing us that the food bars would close at 9:15pm, and we would leisurely eat until 10pm. However tonight, the manager David was very rude to us from his first interaction. He rudely came to our table around 9:10pm and said the restaurant was closed and the food bars would soon close. I stress rudely. It did not help that he had very broken English, because we might not have caught early on that he wanted us to leave the premises asap. Anyway, around 9:50pm he came back and said we had to leave. He even kept repeating absurdly that once he turned on the alarm then we could not leave! Workers were still working! My girlfriend asked for 5 minutes to finish her desert. David gruffly said okay but just stood there glowering at us. I had enough and curtly told him he could leave. He angrily said HE did not mind standing there, to which I replied that I minded. I told him that we frequent the restaurant quite often and had never been treated so rudely. He kept repeating something about the alarm system and us being locked in. And then he walked away a bit and said he was calling mall security. We waited calmly for mall security, and when they arrived, explained and showed that David was the one out of control. Mall security apologized and offered to give us contact information for David's boss. David does not have the right demeanor to deal with customers. Maybe it is his poor English, but he did not take time to speak calmly. He should not be an Fresh Choice employee, let alone a manager. We shall notify Fresh Choice about the incident. I doubt this is the first time David has maltreated a customer, and I hope anyone else who has been treated badly by him will tell Fresh Choice.

Your typical Fresh Choice restaurant, and there's normally not much of a wait at this one. Lots of kids running around, but if you eat regularly at Fresh Choice, you're probably used to it. You can wander around the mall after you're done eating.

Situated in the Vallco mall, this restaurant is a nice place. The food is healthy and yummy. Service is good. If I have one complaint its the seating. It somehow feels kinda crammed up. I highly recommend this place.

We love to go here. Their vegetarian selection is very good and well labelled. My child loves the pizza, muffin and bread bar. Desserts are great too.

Fresh Choice is a great place for abundant healthy food. They have a large variety of salads, toppings, and make-your-own ingredients. Their breads and muffins are great and a small pizza bar is a lot of fun for kids. It's a great family-friendly, health conscious all you can eat place.

Low price, large selection of nutritious, fresh salads, pizza, muffins, soup, pasta, breads in a casual environment in Vallco shopping center. Super for children. Pleasant surroundings. You'll never leave hungry.

CONS: Not for a romantic dinner!
