Desert Care Animal Hospital

Our family has been going to Dr Mc Claine for many years and have always found the Dr and staff to be
highly professional and empathic. Dr Dan is a tremendous addition to the hospital. The Drs and the staff take time with each patient and never make you feel rushed or unimportant. They have literally saved our four-legged soulmates from the ravages life sometimes offers.
We unequivocally recommend them to anyone fortunate enough to have critters in their lives.
What a blessing Desert Care Animal Hospital has been for our family.

The best veterinarian in the high desert! Good staff and clean facility. Will give ALL your critters the best care possible including your furry as well as your feathered and reptile friends. Dr. McClaine is the best!

I took my little cockapoo to this hospital to be neutered on 9/5. They were very courteous, helpful and took great care of him. They provided instructions for his after care. I was very pleased with the facility being clean, neat and orderly. The girls behind the counter helping the customers were very polite and kind. Their prices are a lot better than other hospitals I called when shopping around for neutering costs. They only charged $75.00 total. I was very pleased because other places were quoting up to $160 for neutering. I am taking another dog back there to be spayed in a few days and would recommend this hospital to anyone.

My pets have been clients of Desert Care Animal Hospital for many years now and I will not take my animals anywhere else. Dr. McClaine is one of the best vets and cares about her clients. The staff has always been great and friendly. While, I will say that they are very busy, and it takes awhile to get seen it is well worth the wait. They are busy because they are good. I definately recommend this place to anyone.

I was referred by Animal Hospital at the Narrows. They told me that Dr. McClaine is the best vet for exotic pets. I tried to make an appointment for my ball python. I explained that my ball python was very sick and need to make an appointment. They told me that appointments aren't available for next 7 days. The receptionist wasn't very friendly.

A week later, I decided to see another vet but they offered me to see Dr. McClaine anyways. She is the only doctor who is able to help my python. I called again to make an appointment. The appointments were still not available for another two weeks. I was so frustrated and the different receptionist wasn't helpful. I tried to explain her that I got referred from two vets to see Dr. McClaine. The receptionist told me to see another vet because I won't able to get in. They don't offer emergency appointments.

So, I decided to walk in without appointment and it was a big mistake because it was impossible to get in. I had to wait over four hours and didn't get in even the day wasn't busy.
