It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

If you have the money, GO AHEAD! Disney's hotels are always luxurious with their designs, their rooms, their pools, and their services. The staff always makes you welcome and there are plenty of things to do!

The Paradise Pier Hotel is amazing. It has a pool, movie room, and gym. The rooms are beautiful and are always clean with the bed made. Disney has outdone themselves again!

If you can afford it, book a room at the Grand Californian Hotel. It is a different experience than all the rest. It still gives you the feeling of Disney, but on a subtle note. The rooms give a hint of Disney, unlike the full out Mickeys that can be seen at the historic Disneyland Hotel. If you want a more luxurious feel added to your Disney vacation, try the Grand Californian Hotel.

We stayed at the Paradise Pier for four nights. All I have to say is that their service is unbelievable. We upgraded to concierge service. They presented us with a wonderful continental breakfast in the morning, appetizers in the evening and snacks and drinks all day long (which definately helped with our food budget in Disneyland). We were allowed to check out movies every night to help the kids wind down. The first night we had rice crispy treats shaped like Mickey Mouse waiting for us.

We had a cabana room with included a private patio that had direct access to the pool. The pool is a good size pool but the highlight is the water slide. Even though it was, IMHO, cold I couldn't get my kids off the slide.

Also, one afternoon we entered the lobby to see Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) watching the "tele"....she and my daughters had a wonderful private conversation that they still talk about.

The room was good sized with two queen sized beds, and a sofa, we also had a fridge and dvd player. The hotel is less than five minutes from downtown disney and the monorail.

If you want to stay at a Disney Hotel but have a budget try the Paradise Pier.

Paradise Pier was great. I had a room the overlooked California Adventures. Great hotel to be so little. the roof top pool was o.k. Not much too do but splash around, but you have an exclusive entrance into California Adventures.

Pros: great views, private entrance
