I've been taking my mountain bike to Roy's Bicycle Land for a while now. Lee has always been very helpful and is very knowledgeable about bikes and all there components. I highly recommend this place to both professional and recreational bikers. In addition, we live in a demanding I want it fixed right now society. Maybe if you come in with a bad attitude it filters off to the servicer. Something to consider! Peace :)

I went in to have my bike worked on I brought it out of the garage and it was all dusty and dirty and it did not really work all that good. So I decided it was time for some work to be done to it. So I took it down to my local bike shop to have it looked over. It took a little longer than I ecpected but when I got it back it looked brand new and worked better than new! I would highly recomend this bike shop to anyone who wants there old bikes to look nice and run smoother than new.

WHAT AN @$$#0!e. The man who worked there was indeed rude and just an overall b@st@rd. dont go into this bike shop for any reason whatsoever.\r\n\r\nI went to go purchase new tires for my bike and when they didnt have the brand i wanted the man recommended something ""similar."" luckily i looked at reviews online before i used them because apparently they are probably some of the worst tires on the market. they better return these tires when i go tomorrow because apparently using these tires are dangerous and costly. not to mention msrp is like 25 bucks and i paid 45... know what your doing if you ever try to buy stuff from this shop, they try to sell what they cant because it's an inferior product.\r\n\r\ni wish i saw these reviews first. go to montrose, the bike shop there is big and more competent then this place

This locale does not care about customer service PERIOD. I agree with all of the awful experiences listed below. They may sound like they're going to make a good deal with you but the do NOT follow through at all. Spend your money elsewhere. This shop will ruin your day.

Pros: You THINK you're going to get a good deal but....

Cons: YOU DON'T! They underperform and underdeliver while wasting your time.

Just like the guy below me stated, they have a rude staff. I went there to buy a tire for my sons bike and\r\nthey start rambling that they can't do it and they're too busy etc... I just would've liked the tire change\r\n\r\nHopefully if you go there maybe they will help you if you're lucky

It was time to tune up the old mountain bike and get a little service. I've been dozen of bike shops back home in Texas and usually had a good experience. Well, that was about to change. The Trek had some dings and the gears were freezing up, so a tune up was in order. I found a bike shop only a couple of blocks from the new place and decided to give it a chance. When I got there, it was cramped and dirty, but that's fine. The guy behind the counter on the other hand was extremely rude. He'd be one doing the repairs. I was told two weeks. Seemed a little long, but I gave over the bike. After two weeks, it still wasn't ready. Finally by week 3, I was told to pick up the bike. When I asked what took so long, I was told ""You bothered me and I stopped working on it because I can."" The price was double was the quoted repair was. (Was told 20, price came to 42 dollars). I went for a ride later that day to find a cheap chain on the bike that broke the second I put weight on it. Plus, I found 4 teeth broke off the chain drive. When I went back to complain, I was told that the work was excellent and to stop ""being a p*ssy"". Plus, those parts were so good and he was so good that he recharged me for all the labor and parts. Now totaling over 120 dollars!!!!! When I complained, he said he would just keep the bike and threated to call the police. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea how the stay in buisness with treating their customers this way. This shop is welcome to contact me at any time. So don't post some label saying you tried to get ahold of me, because I'm ready for you to say ""sorry""

Bicycle Land is the place to buy a bike you absolutely love but can't afford. When I came in to buy my Giant, they worked out a payment plan I could meet. The staff know their stuff, being avid bicyclists themselves. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll special order it--no extra charge. Bicycle Land is 'da bomb' of bike shops!

PROS: staff helpful, layaway plans, homey atmosphere
CONS: not the biggest assortment of bikes on display, small staff
