This place is DA BOMB. Down to earth atmosphere and I've spotted an occasional celeb in here as well. The food is what makes this place great. Servings are generous with ample portions. When I lived closer, I was eating here almost

their tofu sauce on their burrito is amazing. seriously. one of the best burritos I've ever had! Although, the handful of times I've been there, it's taken a very long time; the metered/street parking can be frustrating; cash only =(

Pros: quiet, outdoor seating is nice

Cons: cash only, limited parking, sometimes very slow service

I just had a great experience at this restaurant. There are vegan options to most of the menu and the lineup of organic beers is solid. The best part of my experience was the service, though, as I couldn't find the bottom of my iced tea glass no matter how hard I tried. Friendly staff, delicious food. If you do eat here you'll probably see me there because I'm definitely going back.

I've been going to The Spot since 1988. It was one of the first vegetarian restaurants and I love it. I love the atmosphere of the area--Hermosa Beach. It is a very small, quaint, restaurant, no frills. I've been a regular for years and love the homely, special service I receive. I have a dog so I love to eat outside. I love their dishes, especially tofu, prices, service, mgt., and cookbook. I highly recommend it!

You don't have to be a Vegetarian to love this place. The food is so tasty, fresh and healthy. Their baked eggplant is delicious, and there Mexican tofu with veggies and savoury sauce cannot be missed. The staff is super friendly. The place is small and intimate.

The place mostly sells mexican food, and was sort of a let down. I ordered a tofu burrito & was expecting bold flavors, but it was far from it. It's a very homey type of restaurant, small & cozy. It's a nice place to catch up with a friend because the food took forever.

Pros: huge portions, affordable, nearby beach

Cons: parking on weekends, food not flavorful

Great food in a small, casual restaurant by the beach. Some of the items seem a little pricier than they're worth, but they've also got a great budget menu of $5.99/6.99 dishes.

Pretty good vegetarian restaurant, great savory sauce and bread. (The Green Temple in Redondo Beach is very similar and is a better experience.)

Great value for quality and tasty vegetarian food. The service was friendly and what you would expect from a SoCal beach town!

Pros: Inexpensive, Tasty, Healthy

There aren't many vegetarian / vegan restaurants in the South Bay. This one has a decent menu with several 'types' of food and, while it's obviously geared toward 'veggie-types,' it's not over-the-top hippie. The patio is quaint & serene and the staff are very friendly.
