\r\nby JaimeR 10/03/2011\r\nMy girlfriend went in to bleed her brakes because there was air in it. They tried to sell her the whole shop and were very rude and were yelling at her because she didn't want them to do all these misc. services. \r\n\r\nShe felt threatened and if you are a girl do not go here! They will pressure you and treat you like dirt.\r\n\r\nIn the future I hope they treat customer with respect and are more honest with their dealings with females!

OK. I hate taking my van to the shop, but I could not figure out what was going on with the noise my van was making. I usually do the work myself, so it pains me a little to do so.\nMy experience with Castner's Auto actually started with a call to them to ask if they could take a look at my van that day, because I needed it for work ASAP. When Katy Castner answered the phone she was VERY nice and polite (score one for Castner's). She told me to go ahead and bring it in so that they could check it out.\nWhen I got there she continued with her great customer service, and introduced me to Ron Castner (Katy's Husband), who was also very friendly and personable (wow, another point scored for Castner's Auto AND the Castner's too).\nNow, to make a long story short, I left my van there and they made the strange sound go away, at a reasonable price too.\nNow, the odd icing on the cake. When I went to pick up my van I met Mary, Ron's mom. She rang me up for the work they did, and guess what... she was another genuinely nice lady, that gave great customer service too.\nThere you have it. Great service, great work, great price and although I don't know them outside of the shop; they seem like a nice family. I appreciate Castner's.\nOh, and two more things. When I asked Ron about why my car was making the noise it was making, he patiently walked me over to the box with the old part in it and explained it to me. Finally, two days later, I got a thank you letter from them... now that's Castner Cool!\n\nEd

Pros: Great customer service, great work

Cons: Not enough exposure to the main street

This family run repair shop has been the one my family (7 adult drivers) has trusted for years. Honest, straightforward, and fair, this is where you should go for all your auto repair needs. The whole family and all the employee's are friendly, and there is never a "surprise" problem with your car.
