Draeger's Supermarket

My brother has worked in the grocery business for a very long time and this was one of the stores he worked at. Before he worked here, I would never dream of coming here because of it is just plain expensive. However, I now frequent here for their great baked goods. Other than that however, I still think it's way too expensive.

I love Draegers... plain and simple. Fantastic selection of meats, wines, and hard to find culinary items. This store has a wonderful bakery, deli and employees. My wife loves the sandwiches and I love the hard to find top-shelf liquors.

Draigers is one of a kind gourmet store with fabulous selections of food from all over. They have a fantastic collection of chocolates and specializes in truffles specially during the holidays. I also come here for their cooking classes.

This is a neat and high end supermarket located at downtown San Mateo but with plenty underground parking.
The foods selection is plenty and neatly arranged. Their cakes/cookies are delicious. On 2F, plenty pretty though costly gifts selection.

This place is a food guy's dream! They have an enormous range of food from all over the world. They really do put effort into picking only the choicest, quality ingredients. While the prices can be pricey, the level of food is superior by far! If you are looking for a treat, I suggest the dessert counter. They have cakes and cookies that would make any kid's [or adult's] eyes as big as the moon! Truly an epicurian delite!
