My experience with Paris Beauty College was great! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. The teachers were all very nice and willing to help me out whenever I needed. A big part of beauty school is what you're willing to put into it. If you're one of those that sit around on your "A" all day and expect to get anything from that then eventually you'll see where that gets you. They offer lots of advance classes to help prepare you for the real world. I just read in the paper that YOSH just taught a class at their school. That's pretty cool. They are known for their state board stats being the best in the bay area. Their state board prep test is exactly what you will expect from the real state board. I passed my first time and found it very easy. They also help you find jobs if you need it. I would definetly recommend Paris Beauty College.

For a cosmetology school that has been in business for as long as it has been, the school certainly needs to get its act together. The only places that the school seems to have any kind of structure would be in the esthetician department and the freshman classroom. Once you're out on the floor, good luck trying to find an instructor to help you, they mostly seem to hide from the students. For the most part the staff doesn't seem to work as a team, and the only people that could change that never come out of the office long enough to do anything about it. The school also doesn't seem to be equipped well enough for everyone to actually get to practice their procedures. The school also doesn't use professional haircare products (other than the hair color) for their clients. You will still learn the basics, but not very well with the lack of team playing teachers, and lack of tools to use...in a nutshell: You get what you pay for!

This school is not the greatest. The teachers are not respectful of one another OR their students. The administration never emails you back, UNLESS you're an enrolling student. If it's about a a problem with the school, you will NEVER get a response. You can ask the students themselves. I believe the school should be shut down.

If you want to be in the beauty industry and it's your PASSION, go to Paul Mitchell.
