Lets be honest any service industry is going to have some good and bad employees. I have used this service for over 8 years. They do have some turn over but have never let me down when I needed them. I have had regular housekeepers on and off for sometime and other times I float along. (When the money is tighter). When someone cant make it out, they call me right away. I guess unlike some of the other reviews here I am able to realize that sometimes stuff happens and a company can only be held responsible for someones actions for so long until we have to move on to a new housekeeper. I choose to use my cleaning supplies because I am particular on what is used. You can however use the cleaners supplies. I recommend this service to all my Willow Glen neighbors and customers.

Poorly managed and monitoring of cleaners. The occasions where I have not had the cleaner show up, management did not have a clue until I called to report. In addition, until I got home in the evening, I had no idea no one had been there to clean my home. Constant reminders, notes, etc. where necessary to keep up some semblance of cleaning to my specifications. I had a couple of occasions where items were broken and no mention made. If part of the cleaning was ignored, there is no attempt to return to rectify, offer partial refund and always excuses made. There are too many GOOD housecleaning businesses to use this one. You also have to supply all cleaning products and equipment.

I have used A Better Way Housekeeping for a few years and I noticed the quality is going downhill. In the past year, they had missed quite a few scheduled cleaning appointments and the management can't seem to make any improvement after several complaints. I finally decided to go with some other company because they once again decided to change my schedule to accommodate someone else's, without even notifying me before the change. I will never use their service again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This is a Willow Glen business and they have cleaned my Aunt's home for several years now. I like that she feels as though she knows the people and feels safe with them in her home. They've been known to make special trips and get the house ready for special days.

We have been using A Better Way for about 5 years.
They have always been wonderfull to work with.
I believe it is a relatively small office with a number of Housekeepers. We had one for 4 years who was Wonderful - Juana - but she has sadly retired.
Phyllis has always worked with us to find a new or replacement whenever needed. She is willing to work with our ever changing schedule and any extra shifts (for example after a reception we had at home).
They are quick to return phone calls and easy to get a hold of.
PROS: Flexible, Reliable, Quick to return phone calls
