I completely agree with Blah C. I mean, Mission has good academics, but it's so competitive that everyday more than half the school cheats on their tests/homework.
This school needs to improve their football team, the badminton team is bigger than it. =.= But, the wrestling team is amazing, along with swimming and tennis. It's just that football is all that people look at for school sports...
More diversity is needed in this school

This school is very competitive and students are always trying to get a 4.0. However, many students cheat in order to obtain such good grades. During class, I always saw kids copying each other's homework and looking at their cheat sheets or other students' tests. Seems like 90% of the kids cheat here. Athletics also suck, except for tennis and badminton. We didn't even have a football team one year. This school is very academically focused. But on the upside, about 98% of the students go on to college.

PROS: good test scores
CONS: too competitive, crappy sports

Mission San Jose High School is a very tough school filled with bright educated students. The school is very competitive because everyone is trying to get the highest grade. This is a flaw to the school but it makes the students want to work more harder then the rest. To be considered as a lazy person in Mission San Jose you must have at least a 3.7 g.p.a. and you would be one of the laziest students. This school has excellent teachers, an excellent school environment, and a kcik-butt school programs.

Mission San Jose High School is a excellent school for your children or yourself if you want to transfer. Seriously this school teaches you so much and they have so many great teachers there. A majorighty of their students go to top colleges. But then again the school is VERY competitive which is something bad to it. But besides that this school is excellent.

While everyone is saying "MSJHS is such a great school!", not everyone agrees, especially the students! The school may have a high scores for SATS but that is most of the students work. This school has a very competitive state of mind, people care about their grades a lot. The teachers often push the students to excel but a lot of the teachers do a bad job teaching. However, over all it's a pretty good school. Not good in terms of sports, but in education--definetely considerable.

Mission San Jose is one of six high schools in Fremont. The students here are very academically competitive. Despite its poor facilities and overcrowded classrooms, the school scores the highest on standardized tests. Students are encouraged to join a wide range of extracurricular activities and advance placement classes are available. Most MSJ students go on to attend university.

As a graduate of Mission San Jose High school, my years there were characterized by both the troubles of overcrowding and lack of facilities as well as the challenge of being surrounded by talented and hard-working students in the honors classes.
Although Mission was continually underfunded, this was counteracted by a competitive class of motivated students that helped it earn the Blue Ribbon award. This place is what you make of it, and many of its graduates go on to respected colleges, even if they have to be crowded into the classroom to do it.

Over the last 10 years, Mission San Jose High School has become the most coveted highschool by local parents. Personally, I do not feel that it lives up to the hype. I think the reason for the high scores on achievement tests and impressive average student GPA, not to mention the multiple numbers of valedictorians each year, are all attributed to the inherent competitive nature of the students themselves. I do not think their performance has much to do with the teaching level of the school. What the students have in common are that the majority come from well-to-do families in mid to upper class neighborhoods. These parents are mostly immigrants from east asia and southeast asia; they place a huge importance on the value of education and getting perfect grades.

This is a good school one of the best in Fremont. The teachers really work with their student. I would say one thing they can improve on is their sport department and do some work to the sport feilds and track. It was bad when I went to school here and it still is.
