I go here for all my fabric costuming needs--no more day-long trips to downtown LA's fabric mart! They have great deals on fabrics, without the massive markups that Joann's and other fabric stores have. They are particularly great

wish it had an online site.
i think it would benefit their business A LOT.

Pros: lots of fabric, great prices, etc.
Cons: --
Jenny's has a great selection of trims and unusual fabrics. I especially like the variety of 4-way knits that can be made into leotards, dance costumes and ice skating costumes. It beats paying for gas and parking downtown Los Angeles for the same items.
5I always go to Jenny's first because they always know what I am looking for and they always have it. The flat fold section is insane! I mean that in the best way possible. There are so many choices and the prices cannot be beat!
5If it's a fabric in existence, Jennys probably has it.
Their selection is awesome, and awe-inspiring. They have a wide range of design, fabric type, including fancy dress fabrics.
Seriously, it's too hard to even describe. Suffice to say that if you haven't been there, you'll be overwhelmed on your first visit. Be prepared to go back.
They do have finishing touches like buttons and ribbons (amazing selection of ribbons of all sorts). They have some patterns, but not a ton.
They work at the counter in a line fashion - one person cuts your fabric, passes it to the next with the tag, passes that to the cashier in a bag, who checks you out and hands you the fabric.
I don't think they take checks - but they have started taking credit cards.
PROS: Selection, selection, selection
CONS: A little on the pricey side

Jenny's Fabrics is a large store that has a great selection of fabrics. They have a courteous staff that is willing to help you locate the specific fabric you need to complete your project and they are even willing to help you plan your project if you are having difficulty in getting started. The prices for fabric is reasonable. There is usually some type of sale going on and they have a large selection of fabric that is reduced in price in addition to any sales that are currently underway.

MUCH nicer than Jo-Ann's fabric, Jenney's has a much wider fabric selection, as well as a friendlier staff. Most importantly, they don't make you wait while they figure out their own cash register.
