On Sunday 11/21/10 our wood floor buckled all around our new dishwasher, which had leaked/flooded. We called Pacific Sales (owned by Best Buy) on Monday, 11/22, & were told that PS would send a technician to our home on Tuesday, but no one came until Friday 11/26. We suffered through Thanksgiving without a dishwasher. Their technician waltzed into our home, pulled a chair up in front of the dishwasher, pushed some buttons, ran the unit for about 1 or 2 minutes, and then declared that it didn't leak. He did not examine the unit. We told him that the unit was leaking from underneath, how could he determine there was no leak if he didn't even look underneath the product or pull it out from the cabinet? After some argument he did pull the dishwasher from the cabinet. He again pushed some buttons and ran the dishwasher, this time for less than one minute. I told him that the dishwasher didn't leak immediately, that the leak started after the unit had been running and had time to fill with at least some water in it and start cycling - he became extremely huffy and said he couldn't possibly be expected to sit and wait for it to go through a whole cycle. He also said that the unit must not be level and if there was a leak it must have been caused by an improper installation and therefore Pacific Sales would do nothing, but of course he did not bring a level with him and made no attempt to determine whether the unit was or was not level - note that the unit was professionally installed by a qualified contractor and it was, in fact, perfectly level because we double checked it with a level after he left. We ran the dishwasher and took a video of the unit leaking with water pouring out like a river from the bottom - PS said they would not accept a video as proof that the unit leaked, only personal "verification" by one of their guys. We also bought a GE single/double oven from them which has DIED - happened the first time I used the self-cleaning function. Getting the same runaround on this as on the dishwasher so we are stuck in the holidays with no working appliances and a ruined kitchen floor- We only went there b/c GE's product website lists them as a "showcase" distributor where we could buy these high-end appliances. Doesn't GE care about the integrity of their brand and their distributers? Pacific Sales was sure quick to take our money before they delivered defective appliances, but now all they do is talk about "processes" and "procedures" that we have to follow - ouch.

They have poor customer service, including inconsistent information, not returning calls, not calling when parts have come in, and non-apologetic for any of their flaws either. The only person there that has been helpful is Leon the store manager. I think he's the person hired to fix the many many mistakes made at that store. If I called in with an inquiry and spoke with someone else other than him, I was almost always given wrong information and sometimes no information at all (no returned calls...so frustrating). The stove we bought was from a sales person named Larry. While he was nice while we were buying the product (of course, what sales person wouldn't want to make a sale) I think he checked out the minute the transaction was made. I am still waiting on a follow up call from him. Caution to anyone thinking of buying from this store......Please, Please consider buying somewhere else OR have extreme amounts of patience.

Just a little update on the review I posted on May 1st.....I am still waiting on a call from Larry. It's either he has chosen to just not call back (after I have left 2 messages on his voicemail) or he is averaging at least 2 months to return calls. This deserves repeating....Horrible customer service!!

I have been trying to reach them by phone for several days.
Either they do not answer their phone, or the people who do answer are cretins (they insist on connecting me to "plumbing" when I want a bread board???). They either put me on eternal hold, or pick up the phone and hang up on me. They speak perfect English but are so "slow" in the intelligence department that they cannot seem to understand what a "pull-out wooden cabinet bread board or cutting board" is.

Bought a Kitchen Aid fridge in Pasadena store. Was told two weeks, but like others, it did not arrive on time. No one has called to tell me, I had to call to find out. No one offered apology, just purely BAD customer service. Great price on my fridge, I should say, but not by much. Went to other store, was told order by Sun, would arrive three days later, the Wed. Don't know if it's the truth. Why can other store offer it within a week, and PS offered it longer, and still not able to deliver on schedule? Please do some comparison shopping, not just on price, on customer service as well!

I have purchased lots of bathroom fixtures like several faucets, shower head, body jets, hand shower, rain shower etc. form Pacific Sales in RB. I never received any of the on schedule as I was told. The last order for off the shelf body jet was promised to me in 10 working days and it has been more than three weeks and has not arrived. I keep getting running around for delivery date. They changed it several time and I have to keep on rescheduling my plumber/contractor. Next time when and if I place an order I should put the penalty clause in the PO. In my opinion their delivery service is lousy....

I purchased a big kitchen two months ago from Pacific Sales in Burbank. When I bought the Viking kitchen they told me that it would be two weeks until I could get the appliances. I planned to have my contractor around the week that they promised me delivery. Unfortunately the appliances did not arrive. when I tried to find out when they would be arriving I got the run around from their customer service people. I asked to talk to my sales person but he was never available for me to talk to. After finally getting through to somone they told me that my range was on back order and it would not be available for another month. Why did they promise me a three week delivery if they were not going to have the stove for a month. Why did they not call me and tell me it was going to be a month so that I did not waste my time and my contractors time. Now I have to pay for my contractor to come again after this month of waiting. No follow up from Pacific sales no appoligies about haveing to wait a month when they promised me only three weeks.

I would really recommend them as reliable with the lowest prices (generally speaking, you should always call around) and a wide selection. They can order your appliance of choice if you don't see it in the store, or consult their computer to see if it's available in the warehouse to ship.
Apart from appliances they have sinks/tubs/hardware pulls/toilets with good prices in general as well.
On the downside, the lines are long and the salespeople are aggressive, but easily distracted.

I recently remodeled my kitchen and shopped at many different stores to find the best prices for appliances. I found them at Pacific Sales. Our sales person was very helpful and did not pressure us in to making any purchases. They also deliver for free and hold your items in thier warehouse until you need them.

We have purchased all of our big appliances here, even after shopping around. I found the staff to be knowledgable & they have a wide variety of quality appliances. In January, they have a big sale so if you can wait, I recommend going there in January.Have also seen celebrities shopping in there too.
