Great food, friendly people, and the menu is really reasonably priced. This is the best pizza I've had since I left NY!

Among those who've eaten at a real Italian table, or frequented old-style New York italian kitchens where pasta is still made fresh, this place is a valley gem! Fresh pasta. All the pasta is fresh. I heard of this place from a friend, and wondered if it could be true. A few places around town have fresh fettucine or ravioli while the rest of the menu is from dry goods. My first look at Victorio's was from the kitchen side. There on the counter is a pasta cutter, not pushed off to the side for special occasions, but out in the middle with flour on it from immediate use. I asked a member of the family and, indeed, ALL their pastas are fresh. I see everyone else comes there for the pizza. Me i go for the pasta. Nice flavorful sauces. And a family feel to to the service which feels very small town and east coast at the same time. I still wish they had papperdelle which is my favorite, and carbonara. But as seasoned freshmakers, Victorio's staff are not averse to a little creative ordering. I stamp this place a winner. Don't be fooled. It's been there since 1964, so the strip of stores has grown up around it.

Pros: Monday night live jazz, Sunday live big band!

Cons: Location next to 99 cent store fools some. The food transcends the neighborhood.

I never knew there was a Victorio's in Noho.. but I go to the one in Burbank all the time. They're really friendly and always have sportsgames playing. I LOVE their pasta and salads! They have a really casual atmosphere so I feel comfortable grabbing a quick bite here :)

Don't do it! They mess up your order and pretend that you are the one with a problem. "Call me back tomorrow"?!? WTF is that?

I was pleasantly surprised by Victorio's. I've worked in the neighborhood for years and never knew this place existed. As the other review stated, it's next to a 99 cent store but don't let that discourage you. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and the help staff very attentive. Thin or thick crust..they can do both. The pizza compares favorably with the more expensive self proclaimed best pizza joints in LA without the attitude. You don't have to import bottled water from back East or be rude to customers to make a good pizza! We didn't try anything else on the menu, but other dishes looked very good. I'll definitely be back.

Adjacent to some kind of crappy 99 cent store, at this mom n' pop hole in the wall you can get a terrific pizza. quality cheese, a nicely understated sauce, and a very nice crisp crust the indicator of a solid oven at perfect temperature. nothing is ever perfect, so the ethnically incorrect kitchen staff will get the proportions wrong if you dont watch and advise, but the ingredients are actually top notch. this east coaster was actually impressed. great job voctorios...definitely worth a try. their other entrees also looked and smelled fine...also, service was very good, and done with a smile and hometown type of concern about the product...they care, and deserve our business...very good
