.

I was at the Old Torrance Antique Fair held on 4th Sunday of Mth. I haven't been to this fair in a long time and thought I would browse through some of the businesses that were open. I had never been in this store before. No soon did I take 1 step in & touched one pair of shoes on the counter when this wanna-be-rockstar owner "popped out of the corner" w/ the price. Then he cont on w/ his speel of yrs of experience. Well, for clothing it is not yrs of experience that is important but what you sell and your prices. This is not a place where you want to have the pleasure of browsing hoping to find something interesting. On the contrary there is junk spilling out of every nook and cranny- definately NOT pleasurable. Frankly I am surprised the City of Torrance allows this fire hazard and forget about it if you are disabled. The owner then gave me the "up and down" look & already knowing that I was in there to steal something, wanted to hold my bags (of purchases I made at the Antique Fair) at the door. Hey, get a clue, maybe if you cleaned up the place there would be no need to ask for my bags and if that is a problem, don't be open when the Fair is going on (as people are known to making purchases and don't always have the ability to put them in their car). Well, there are plenty of vintage, use closed stores, over-stocked retail clothing outlets (TJ Maax) in the So Bay and this Hurricane of a Katrina store I will never visit again!
