I calculated the ratings to date for this place and got a 3.6. So how come it shows 4.5? [nine characters short]

I like trying new places to eat and was enthusiastic about Pizza Pino because it offers the pizza toppings that I like, which not every place does. The good: it was delivered on time and hot. The bad: the pizza was terrible. The crust was too thin, not cracker crust hard, but it was thinner than NY style, without the desirable texture and flavor of a good crust. It was hard at the edge and slightly burned on the bottom. The ugly: looked like a frozen pizza, sort of a homogeneous pink, instead of a heterogeneous sampling of crust, sauce, cheeses and individual toppings that you get on a quality pizza.

Pros: On time and still hot

Cons: Poor quality

I live about a block away and I never ever order from this place unless I have to. Their service is terrible and the quality of the food is even worse. The only draw is that they are open late and most of their customers are too drunk to notice the quality of the food here. I've been here once during the day and the pizza guy was picking his nose! It was disgusting! Be careful wandering into this joint late at night as they will "mark up" their prices last minute depending on how drunk you look.

this place is da chronic. Get dem corn and pineapps on yo slice. If you want to get down on flavur try dem shrimps on dat shee.

Pros: bathroom for customers, dank food, dank entertainment (tv and newspaper), awesome artwork, dope workers, and open way late man.

Cons: no more 5 dollar 2 slice 1 soda combos ereryday and night

The pizza from here is truly below average. The crust is chewy, the sauce is bland. Not fun to eat.
I have, however, been starving late night and ordered a Caesar salad that was pretty good. And the chicken wings were OK. The pizza really is terrible, though. I'd give it one star, but two stars for late night delivery on a monday night.

the place was so dirty , the food was yaakkkiiiiii i'm sure that the owener he/she never had to eat in a good restaurant, poooorrrrrrr service people they don't speak english , they are using old food, the chicken is so dry that u will broke a window with it . they need to learn to make a good food , they do busniess with drank people because when u are dranke u can't taste the food. well a good advise guys russain hill people , nobhill, lower hill......... Ate IN the restuarant (not recommended). Shot the breeze with the staff for a while--One actually alleged that the owners post on citysearch to inflate the rating. Checked it out, and it seems so true. Look at the good reviews. They're all glowing w/ the only complaint that there's no parking. Nice try Pizza Pino owners. Your customers and STAFF know it! Moral of the story: pizza was terrible, reviews are suspect.

Cons: NO PARKING!!!! EVER NOTICE ALL THE REVIEWS SAY "NO PARKING" -- BOGUS!

This place used to be on my list of pizza places to order from, but no more. They brought me a pizza with meat on it even though that's not what I ordered. Be sure to report all restaurants that are deceptively serving meat and give them the worst rating possible.

Watch your wallets here.
Some how these jokers ripped off my credit card number and have accepted it for payment obviously for outrageous amounts of food; Since by reading the reviews the food doesn't sound all that great. Only an insider/employee would act as an accomplice to an aquaintance to run up bogus charges on a manually entered card number.
Moral of the story folks, watch you cards, pay cash, or follow the recommendation of the many diners unlike myself who have actually tried the food and indicated it stinks... eat somewhere else.

This pizza had to be the worst delivery I've had in a long time. The crust was like cardboard, it took a long time, and the toppings were gross. I swear this thing had clams on it, or the toppings they used were sitting next to the clams. I also ordered the thick crust, but it was paper thin. Other people say this place is good, but I'm not going to waste my money on it again.

try the algiers pizza-get the thick or thin-they always have a coupon for $3 off
just the right amount of sundried tomatoes-spinach & garlic
their pepperoni is outstanding too
get the large cheese for 10.99-great deal
they deliver anywhere-till 4am-you can't beat it!

This pizza is good anytime!
Recommends-Thin crust-large-10.99!...The garlic loaf bread-garlicy-cheesey-cheap!...The cheese filled deep dish-even better tasting the next day! (the real test of a true pizza is how it tastes the next day...) AND- you have to call to talk to Salim! Wonderful phone service-informative-professional-pleasent. A lot of places that are busy don't appreciate their customers- but he does!
With so many places to order pizza-the reason why I call them is their great food and terrific customer service!

I HAVE TO SAY-GREAT PIZZA!
SUPER THIN & CRISPY. INCREDIBLY CHEAP. GREAT DELIVERY-NO CHARGE-FAST-ALL OVER THE CITY.
DEFINATELY GET THE DEEP DISH PEPPERONI.
THE CALZONE WITHOUT THE CHEESE/GARLIC OUTSIDE-JUST PLAIN OUTSIDE-BUT GET IT WITH ONIONS-MUSHROOMS & CHEESE.

DON'T GET ANYTHING MEATBALL-THE MEATBALL "MEAT" IS TERRIBLE THERE-FROZEN LITTLE BALL KIND.

I always get food delivered-BUT on the phone-Salim is the best. He is always pleasent-professional AND they have the best deals. 2 large pizzas with 2 toppings-$19...and X-Lg Cheese Pizza-$11! Cheap!
BTW-where else can you get great pizza delivered to SOMA at 4am?
Their thin crust (foldable in 1/2 cheese) is great- alot of cheese-decent tomato sauce-thin & crisp.
Their deep dish-not really deep dish but hand tossed-is great! Especially cold the next day.

I am from NYC... this is good pizza... not great pizza but honest to goodness decent pizza. I even find myself craving it. some of the better pizza I have had since being out here.
We actually just called them...4am.. they stayed and made us a brand new 4 cheese pie, and a calzone. We're sitting here at 5:15am eating this delicious food. Thanks Salim! That's customer service.
When we have ordered from them before-during daylight hours...it's still good.
Zachaerys in Berkley on College Ave is also good pizza. Golden Boy is also good for thick slices.

I don't think if there is any better Pizza then PINO. maybe dinning there is not a good idea. but if you want the pizza to be delivered to your place look no further, Call pizza Pino, they are never late and the pizza is simply the best, Period.

My Nike shoe box tastes better. This is not good pizza unless its 2:30 am and you're ripped. Stay away during day light hours and while you're sober.

I went over the ratings. and I was a skeptic about this not very known place. I just placed an order for delivery. I couldn't beleive the taste of the Pizza. I really enjoyed it. Pizza Pino you guys are good.

It just happened that I order some Pizza from this Place 2 days ago. maybe it's not the best Pizza in the world, but definetely the pizza was the best i had so far in SF. It was just OWESOME and the delivery was on time. I think number 7 in the bay area is "Well deserved". I definetely recomand it. way to go "Pino"

Unlesss you are so drunk that you do not care what you are eating...don't eat here...by far the worst pizza in SF. Granted, SF is not known for its Pizza but then again neither is this place. You are better off smearing pizza sauce on some cardboard..it will taste just the same. Service...the staff can not spell Service nor define it.

I had read reviews and ordered some za from this place. It was without a doubt the worst I've had in the city. Go with North Beach if you want delivery, and Tomasso's if you want to sit down. Pizza Pino is not good pizza. Boring and bland. And pizza is easy.

I stayed at the motel on Lombard st next to Pino Place. its really awsome pizza with a killing crust and so funny guys down there... i give high score.

To be honest with u gyus i go rarely there. but i place orders 2 to 3 times a week. the delivery is super fast.. very hot .. and god! the pizza is just very good with a killing crust...

I place an order form this place.. a large 16" Pino speacial..the price was only $16.25, i got my delivery in less then 35 min. and the Pizza was just inbelievable. now I almost order..4 to 5 times a week.
