My roommates and I used to come to this place when our families visited in college. It's a great place for a group. All of the pancakes are delicious (especially the banana!) and they have great toppings including olalaberry jam. Sometimes the wait is long on the weekends, so if you're in college, go during the week!

Their food is definitely good, but it's also overpriced. I would rather go just to get a pie, which is decently priced. The servers and very kind, but the management isn't.

Whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a bakery treat you can't go wrong at Fat Apples. There are different specials for each day of the week. Don't miss the pulled pork sandwich on Mondays or one of their delicious pies.

Super Yum. One of the few places in Berkeley where you don't have to wait forever. The food is very much good home cooking. They have yummy baked goods that accompany the breakfast fare.
