5 Stars: Best breakfast in town..... (by jls1521)

A great place for breakfast. I have eaten here many times over the last few years and the quality and service has always been top notch. Make sure to try one of the Red Velvet cupcakes when you are done with your meal!

5 Stars: LuLu's was worth the drive (by TannaJ2009)

My family and I live in Phoenix. We were driving to meet friends and we were recommended to Lulu's cafe'
This was the best crepe and pasta Ive ever had. I wish they were in our town. I have been craving the pasta del a mer ever since I took my first bite. I have tried to re-create it at home but the chef has his own touch. I have yet to master this creation. I will keep trying and someday maybe get the right taste. It was definately worth the drive. I would do it all again. I loved the location so close to the freeway and easy to get to.

Thank you chef Lino you rocked my taste buds!

Someday I hope you will share your secrets in a cook book!

4 Stars: Best for Breakfast! (by Irene B.)

This is our Sunday breakfast routine. Great food, great options - healthy or otherwise. I like the egg white make your own omelet; and my friend swears by the french toast. Lots of outdoor seating - worth a visit!

5 Stars: Love their breakfast! (by dottingpromise)

We've been to Lulu's several times for breakfast on the weekends. Never a wait (we usually get there before 10AM). We love sitting outside to people watch. I love the different varieties of eggs benedict. Pancakes are good too. Anytime we have out-of-towners visiting, we take them to Lulu's for breakfast at least once. The cafe ole is delicious. Their coffee shake is great too! Family-friendly place. Service is always great, food is always delicious.

5 Stars: Great Food, Great Service, Great Ambience-Best Brunch Spot~! (by winelovinlady)

I have been going to Lulu's since I moved to Los Angeles about 5+ years ago and have been a die hard lover ever since!! Amazing Omeletes! The best fruit bowl and pretty much every fabulous sandwich and breakfast dish you can imagine. This is the first place I bring friends or family to when they're visiting town. I rarely wait more then a few minutes for a table, even at it's busiest and unlikely other trendier breakfast spots in the neighborhood, you don't have to deal with any of the LA attitude from the staff. The servers are friendly, quick and never leave your coffee mug empty long. You must go here, you'll definitely be a lifer!

4 Stars: Best Omelette, Pet-friendly, Outdoor dining (by gizzmo01)

It's a great place for brunch or casual lunch with friends. They have a wide menu and reasonable prices. We only waited for 10 min during our Sunday visit. Our food was tasty and service was quick. Just don't order your bagel with a side of cream cheese...unless you're willing to pay $2 for a 1 tb serving of cream cheese!

Lulu's is a great breakfast spot with ample outdoor seating. The food is really good and the service has always been swell. I did have lunch there once and I was not as impressed. I recommend for breakfast only!

2 Stars: If you want your fish on a hook (by yanushka)

I order from Lulu's once a week and usually receive quality food. Yesterday, however, I ordered the Salmon Entree and the fish was uncooked in the inside and I had to microwave it to finish it off. Worst of all, there was a very sharp bent piece of metal inside (about 3/4" long, 1/16" diameter). I bit on it and thankfully took it out of my mouth before it could have done much damage.

5 Stars: Top 5 Breakfast spots in L.A.! (by tobelson)

When I want to have an enjoyable breakfast, Lulu?s always comes out on top. It?s super casual, the food is always good, and they have great coffee! A nice place to meet friends. It is usually busy so be ready to wait about 20 minutes. If you go there during the week they have good specials in the A.M. I do not have a dog but they are dog friendly.

5 Stars: Great breakfasts (by uclagirl)

This was my first trip to Lulu's, and I'm already a fan. The make-your-own omelet or scramble is a great option, with your choice of four ingredients--I went with avocado, bacon, tomatoes, and cheddar. And there are plenty of items to choose from. The coffee may be a touch strong for my taste, but it's good nevertheless. I was also intrigued by the variations on Eggs Benedict. For those who want a breakfast that isn't egg-centered, there are griddle items and yogurt and fruit. And, of course, there's lunch.

5 Stars: Just like home (by ieatalot2)

I love this place. If you want a great breakfast then lulus is the spot. I have just finished reading the reviews on this little cafe and i was in shock to see the last review. I have always had great meals and the people have always been very nice. My guess is the person who wrote this just hates on most places after seeing his other reviews. So take it from me this place is the best. Try it for yourself. It is just like having a home cook meal without doing the leg work.

1 Stars: Customer Service is Optional (by bc1750)

You would think this sister property to Toast on 3rd would be as wonderful, not the case. The food is good, although not as creative as Toast, but the customer service is severly lacking. Twice now the wait staff has lost my order resulting in our party walking out. Just today the waitress served me a BLT when I ordered a Club Sandwich. She then proceeded to tell me what she heard and that I was mistaken.

If you have ever worked in customer service you know that you never do this. As such, her tip reflected it. Just don't put up for this treatment as it happens often at this location.

You should also check your food for insect remains. A good friend of mine who owns a very prominent bakery and cafe here in LA found insect remains in her salad. In response to her claim the owner stated, "I wonder where the other half went." He then served them with the full bill of sale.

Just not proper customer service and their actions aren't justified.

5 Stars: Great little hangout in LA! (by arkline)

I love Lulu's. It really is just a great little cafe. There is a plethora of options for you, whether you want a huge omelette or an overflowing salad. I love the Summer Caprese salad - a huge chopped salad with chicken, avocado, buffalo mozzerella, and a TON of fresh lemon juice. If you don't like lemons, it might be a little much, but it just tastes so fresh! Their quesadillas are a little greasy, but are so good and ooze out cheese. Lulu's isn't too expensive, but isn't too cheap either. I think they charge enough since your portions are so big. I would definitely recommend this place!

WE LOVE LULU'S WEEKDAY BREAKFAST SPECIALS. THE FOOD IS FRESH AND HEALTHY. THEIR MADE-TO-ORDER OMLETTES ARE GREAT. IF YOU ARE A SMOKER (WE ARE NOT!), YOU ARE IN LUCK, BECAUSE ALL OF THEIR WONDERFUL OUTDOOR TABLES ARE FOR SMOKERS!!!

PROS:
CONS: NO OUTDOOR SEATING FOR NON-SMOKERS.

5 Stars: (by Lauren S.)

I absolutely adore Lulu's! It's become a regular brunch place for my friend and I. Its not uncommon for us to go every weekend or every other. The food is amazing-I tend to get breakfast, but they also have amazing salads, sandwiches, wraps, etc. that use a number of interesting and eclectic ingredients. The staff are very friendly, although my one gripe would be the amount of time it can take to get your food, or for you to get various requests, i.e. coffee or refills, etc. However, the outdoor seating, and amazing food definitely make up for that tenfold. Highly recommended!

5 Stars: Trendy & Dog-Friendly!!! (by adelly)

Typical LA! I always see this place packed, so when we ate there for Sunday brunch, I anticipated the 20 min. wait. Once you get a table, though, service is really fast and efficient. Prices are reasonable and the food is great (typical Californian fare). Bill (pretax and tip) for 2 special omelettes, 1 apple juice & i vanilla latte was $25.44. I love it too that the dogs can just laze around or sit on our laps while we eat. Will come back!

5 Stars: Yum Yum Gimme Some (by usconner)

What a find! Nothing fancy-schmancy about this place, just good food. Breakfast served all day and some great sandwiches and wraps for lunch. Portions are large and they better be cause it is not inexpensive. Omlettes, french toast and the tuna sandwich are my faves, but just about everything there is great. Don't do delivery though: it takes forever and they add on quite a hefty delivery fee. Weekend brunch, it is very crowded.
