Hello, my name is Ann Dunham, your hostess at Inn at Moonlight Beach. My ocean-view rooms and suites recall a lovely French Country Inn with private baths, wi-fi & refrigerator. Each morning I'll bake you home-made, warm-from-the-oven pastries that are mouth-watering along with your breakfast -- all included in your stay. All this, yet my prices are $50 - $75 less than San Diego or Encinitas Bed & Breakfasts, inns and hotels, even though we are closer to the Pacific Ocean that any Inn or B&B in San Diego.

Awesome

by Robert K.

We discovered this lovely B&B near San Diego on the Internet. They have a wonderful, detailed website, but even then it exceeded our expectations. The innkeepers live on-site and are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, the beach is close, the restaurant recommendations were spot on, the prices were very reasonable! How does it get better than that?

Great Find!

by Loretta A.

My husband and I found out about this little inn from a friend who saw the ratings and reviews on line. We called to speak to the owners and found them very hospitable and shared lots of information about the town of Encinitas. Well, we stayed there and it was better than advertised. Ann was just wonderful and her dinner recommendations for all three evenings really were right on the mark for what we wanted. Our room was cute, well decorated, clean, and most importantly, very reasonably priced. We met other guests from Italy, Canada and Florida. What a great place!

Pacific Ocean Hideaway

by William W.

My wife and I came here for our 10th anniversary and by the end of our 3 days we were calling it our "hideaway" on the pacific. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and you can hear it at night, the waves crashing ashore - perfect for sleeping. It's clean, well kept, quiet, comfortable and friendly. Breakfasts are home made, not cereal in a box like some other B&Bs we've stayed at. It was the perfect hideaway for us!

A Wonderful Inn at the Beach

by Ron P.

We have stayed at this small Inn several times when we just feel the need to get away from it all. It is perfect for spending meditative time and de-stressing with long walks on the beach. The little town is great to walk around in and is full of wonderful yoga studios, too. We are now familiar with several rooms including the Penthouse Suite which is just gorgeous with a private balcony overlooking the ocean with its own private hot tub under the stars. The inn keeper is so sweet also. All in all it has been wonderful every time we visit the Inn at Moonlight Beach and we will be returning again!

stunning view

by Betty R. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 577

I spent a week at Seabreeze Bed & Breakfast in Leucadia while on vacation. There is just one parking place for each of the 4 rooms. The view is wonderful and the innkeeper is very hospitable. The Inn is the bottom floor of her house and has a den and kitchen with goodies in the fridge. Sometimes cigarette smoke from upstairs permeates down to the bottom floor, but not too bad.

Ann Dunham and Terry Hunefeld purchased SeaBreeze and spent 6 months totally renovating it - renaming it Inn At Moonlight Beach. It is now a non-smoking with plenty of parking for our guests. Please visit our site and check out the new photos. Guests love our fresh, ocean-view suites and Ann's warm-from-the-oven, home-made pastries served every morning with breakfast.
