The grounds are spectacular and just what you think your child may need but that's about as far as I would go on recommending this school. The staff has limited knowledge of how to handle child development despite what credentials they may claim to have. On numerous occassions I would arrive to see children with runny noses down to the chin and the teachers wouldn't do anything or kids crying and they would not console them. When I asked why, I was told we have about 3 minutes per chlld and can't focus on one child and they must learn to work through it. The classrooms are hand me down products - none of which I believe have been cleaned or lead tested and dirt which expectation that the parents will help clean as part of their annual parent requirement hours. After a 1.5 years, I finally pulled my child out because I was tired of trying to arrange meetings with the teacher and the Director to get progress on my son, the staffs unprofessionalism, and frankly worried that my son may not be getting the greatest care.

This is the kind of place you look at as an adult and which you were a kid again. Its really beautiful... lots of trees, live animals (ducks and rabbits!) and so many activities for the kids to explore. The teachers are amazing and were so attentive to my child's needs. When I brought my child here one of the teachers let me know that she was exibiting signs of Autism and reccomended that I get her evaluated by a professional. After taking my daughter to an expert and getting the diagnosis I was so thankful to the staff for noticing even the most subtle signs. I couldn't believe how understanding and helpful her teacher was. She made sure my daughter had special activities to suit her specific situation. I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am.

This is a great place for your kids to be in. I absolutely feel like family there. They really care about not just the kids but the family too. They really care! The environment is perfect for kids to grow up in. They have duckies and chics and little animal friend for the kids to play with. They have jungle jims and plenty of loving care from every staff member. The staff are truly lovely people. They care so much about the kids that its almost hard to believe. My son learns so much on a daily basis and I feel so comfortable dropping him off every day and he always has a smile on his face at the end of the day. I simply could not be happier. \n\nI highly...HIGHLY recommend pacific friends for your kids!

Single dad here, and I've had my son enrolled at this school for the past three years. He loves the place. They have real animals, plenty of outdoor grassy areas, swing sets, jungle gyms, climbing play structures, scooters, bikes and trikes, and so on. I couldn't ask for a more caring, loving and nuturing staff, either. They even helped me with his potty training (I was almost going crazy, so they helped a lot). They are an Accredited school so I know he's learning while he's there, too. Downside? Hmmm. I can't think of any.... While extremely rare, I have observed other parents who are way too over protective (guilt ridden?) freaking out at the staff over minor bumps or bruises, but hey, the kids are climbing on jungle gyms, ya know? All in all, it's a great preschool with a great staff, with an incredible summer program too.

My child was there for only a week, he came home with a bite mark, all bruised up. So I called the school to find out what had happened. And was told that no one seem to know about the incident...I was so disappointed to trust the school to leave him there so I can be at work without worrying ...I told one of the teachers that I was calling from work, and did not want to violate my work policy, so I would make time to come to school to solve the problem in person with director Kellie as soon as I can... A few days\r\nays later, not even one phone call of apology, I got a letter of dis_enroll my child... This is the WORST SHOOL I have ever known!\r\n\r\nWhile visiting the school the first week, I witnessed a two years old boy was crying his eyeballs out, no one seem to hold or comfort this poor kid...\r\n\r\nThey just want business, the parents have no idea what they do to their kids there...\r\n\r\nPlease do not enroll your kids there!

If you just want your kids to have an expensive "DAY CARE", You Got It. But if you want your kids to received a good quality of pre-school education, Not Here.
Teacher=Nanny. Don't know where the school hire these staff from?! Maybe not even qualified to teach young kids.

I searched Temple City and surrounding areas for a pre-school for my daughter--there was only one that I felt confident in going to. Pacific Friends Pre-school is an amazing place. The campus is incredibly beautiful. There are trees everywhere and the expansive playground is always shaded to protect our children's delicate skin. The staff is warm and loving and give each child the attention they need. Pacific Friends also has a little farm for the children to experience raising animals! They have bunnies, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, and more. My daughter has been able to help raise newborn bunnies at school, and collect eggs in the morning. Pacific Friends is a wonderland for children, they go above and beyond ANY other school I visited. They provide a positive environment for the children and help them to become confident and caring individuals.

My 19 year old son went there before it was refurbished and had a wonderful experience. My 12 year old daughter went ther after the remodel and the grounds are beautiful. I was at a reunion recently, and was very impressed with the staff and new academic ciricculum. The school continues to grow and adapt and has recently been evaluated for accreditation. Don't overlook this gem if you are in the San Gabriel Valley Area and need pre school or day-care.

This is a great school. My daughter has gone here since she turned 2 years of age and loves it. Most days I can't get her to go home with me!\nThe teachers love the children so much, and they care about children with special needs too!\nThe grounds are beautiful and natural. It's a developmental school, so I know my child is getting a well rounded early learning experience. \nWe love it.

The teachers are very good with the children! My son has been going there for the last 2 years and he loves it! He has learned so much more than any at-home daycare and this school isn't as expensive! I'm hoping to keep him in this school until he is ready for kindergarten.
