The long lines through this drive-thru style place is a good sign. The prices are low, the portions are generous and the food is tasty. I have no idea of how unhealthy it is (lard vs. vegetable oil) but everything tastes pretty fresh.
I don't think it's 24 hours anymore.
They only take cash and atm debit. no credit cards

This place has really yummy mexican food. I love their pollo asada fries. Their portions are really generous too. It is a great place to go for a late night craving.

If you are looking for EXCELLENT Mexican Fast Food in San Diego then this is it. I recommend the Carne Asada and Pollo Asado Burritos, the Machaca Plate and the Rolled Tacos (Order them Extra-Crispy). Don't forget about their Carne Asada Fries with extra sour cream. Yummy! Perfect relief!

Great, genuine mexican food! None of that tostada bowl business; the tostadas here are real circles of taco-shell stuff with filling piled on top. Chimichangas to die for, fat burritos, and horchata! And arcade games! It's a little dingy, but the 24-hours appeal brings the score back up! The perfect finals-week chow station!
PROS: 24-hours, great selection
CONS: Dingy ambiance
