Kens Collision Center

i went to kens based on reviews and must say i got the worst possible service and experience ever.

i dropped the car off on a Monday, i met ken seemed smart polite and knowledgeable. I was told car would be done Wednesday and to just call. So i called and was told Thursday around 4. So i got a friend to come get me and we went at 3pm. Car was done and sitting out so i gave it a look and wow it went down hill. I noticed a clear coat bubble that they called a "fish eye" and it just kept getting worse. The original scratches were still there, sand in the clear coat everywhere and i noticed that one of 4 fasteners was missing. So after discussing "them making it right", i left the car one more day but told them i had to be picked up since i have no ride. They said sure call at noon. I called, now on Friday at noon, to be told it wasnt ready. Well me and my wife walked 2 miles and what do you know it was. First thing i looked at was the 1 missing fastener, well now it was 4 missing fasteners and they took screws from under the car to fill the holes(confirmed by looking under the car and seeing 4 holes, where i guess they figured i wouldnt look). The same scratch was still there just under paint and clear. I assume it was kens wife came out and seemed like she wanted to help but (word to the wise dont talk bad about the customer in spanish if his wife is fluent in spanish) but just called us crazy and stupid and foul language. She even said just make it look like you fixed the scratch to get rid of them in spanish to her employee. WOW. She tried to tell me the car was the way i dropped it off, yeah right lady. So at this point i am fed up and told them look i will go get the fasteners at the dealer just pay me back, ok they said. I then asked for a screw driver to put the screws where they go and guess what, a pair of pliers fell out my bumper. So as i knew, they took the screws and clips off the bottom(i have taken my bumper off multiple times so i knew what they did), drove to the dealer and got the right fasteners(and yes kens told me it was done right many times, since when is taking the wrong parts right). They did reimburse me but it just wasnt worth it. I saved a little but am still not fixed, and like i told the secretary i will not give them another chance i will just pay someone to do it right the first time. Experience was horrible and where else can i get owners and employees talking trash in my face(in spanish mind you). They dont know how to reassemble a car, the paint looks okay after a repaint but how do you miss the original scratch? Stay away save your car and yourself, and yes i returned the pliers to kens. they can keep them i will keep my business away!

I had been hit in the rear quarter panel of my 15 year old truck and was concerned about them being able to match the color and make it look good. They did an excellent job and the color matched perfectly!!! They contacted the other person insurance company and arranged for them to inspect the car, arranged for me to get a rental car and kept me well informed on the progress and status of my truck. Great job and would highly recommend them!

Kens is the only place I trust to take my car to. Ken always takes care of me and my car. All I have to do is call Ken and no matter what I say I need for my car, he always says, " don't worry baby, I'll take care of it"! And at the end of the day my car is running better than ever! What else can I say, best service!

Got in to an accident AGAIN!!!
Ok, it??s not a big deal because I got Kens. The first time I was lost But Mr. Ken and Laura always say what I like to hear ??It??s OK?, we??ll Take care it, and in fact they do. If you ever read this review, trust me They will take care of everything, they waived my deductible, gave me a free loaner And detail my car at no cost to me. If you don??t find this helpful, well, I don??t know What else you need to know to have the best service in Los Angeles. My car looks like new AGAIN!!!

I just got home from picking my car up at Kens and it looks just FENOMENAL... I drive a 911 turbo and after 2 weeks in repairs (20 k later) Mr. Ken and Laura made this so simple for me and my wife, the other guys insurance was giving us problems at the beginning but is obvious that Kenneth knows what he is doing.
My car got the complete check up by Beverly Hills Porsche, something that I was worried due to warrantee Issues, but they called me and advised me that the vehicle was repaired properly and under their complete standards. I read some on the other bad reviews and I??ll tell you? I don??t know about the others but with me this guy??s got my A +.
Give them a try, you won??t regret it.

I took my 2008 Scion TC because my whole Side of the car and the side mirror was completely destroyed. Bad thing was, i needed to return it to the dealer. Good thing was, i did not pay dealer nothing; they took care of the processing with no accidentand plus, CarFax shows nothing! I also reffered my Sister to take her BMW X5 because the lease was over; everything passed without any questions. So in other words, your car will come out new, if your car goes to Kens Collision!!! Ken is hands down the best in Los Angeles!!

I just bought a porsche that need the roof painted. Ken did a great job with the quality of the materials and they did a professional detailing when I picked it up.

I just picked my car up from Kens Collision and WOW?.
I went to a couple of body shops in the area for an estimate, they were more or less about the same price range, but at kens collision not only got me the best deal of all, they gave me a loaner car for free while my car was been repaired. What was my surprise?
When I got there!! My car was completely detailed IN and OUT; it looks like a brand new car.
I was planning on selling my BMW but now it looks so nice that I think I??m going to keep it for a while.
Ken was so nice and professional, Laura is such a nice girl and what I love about her is that she gave me updates every day. I took my time to post this review because I think good people deserve to be recognize for their good work, effort and service.
Thanks Kenny and Laura, In this economy most people are on a budget, but you guys went beyond my expectations. Thanks again!

I got in to a not so bad accident last week due to this heavy rain in so cal.
Right in the middle of the rain I went on line on my cell phone, and found Kens Collision; i got to admit that I was very concern about a place that I??ve never heard of, but in no time they were there on the spot with a tow truck, after my arrival to the shop, the office manager Laura, gave me a very detailed explanation of how the repair process was going to be, with the insurance, the repairs etc...
I just picked up my car and it looks like brand new, not only that, through all the time the car was at the shop they gave me a free loaner and a full detail to my vehicle... I have to say that I??ve never ever, ever experienced such an amazing customer service in my life, and yes I definitely recommend Kens Collision Center!!!

In this economy people are looking to save money not to throw money in water. If you have lot of money and you don't care you can go to Kens. I took my car that had a slight damage on front bumber to get a quote. Mr Ken quoted me $750.00. I told him I will be back if I don't get a better price somewhere else.
I went 4 other body shop in some area I got a quote of $299 and below.( well known body shops). I guess I will take my money to other place not at Kens collision.
Be careful when getting price quote. Ripoff

I am writing this review as of my second collision within the past four months. I was first hit as a parked car at work, and had Ken's Collison do the repairs. I had located this shop from an internet search, and had read all the wonderful reviews from past customers. Since this shop was also close to my work location, I decided to give it a try. All the work was of excellent quality. My car looked like it had just come off the showroom floor. In terms of customer relations, Ken, the owner, and Laura, the office manager were wonderful. They handled all the insurance issues from the party at fault, and assisted me in arranging the rental. They took care of everything, and repairing my car had never been easier. Ken's is awesome, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing body repairs on their car. I thought I was home free with a great looking vehicle until the second accident happened two months later. On my way to work, someone rear ended me, and pushed me into another car. Needless to say, in my disbelief, there was quite a bit of damage to the front and rear of the vehicle. Fortunately, I was still able to drive the car, and took it right over to Ken's for repair. The shop handled everything in terms of dealing with the insurance companies, my attorney, and all the car repairs. Once again, repairing my car had never been a more awesome experience. Even when I had to come back for a few minor details, the staff was always friendly and treated me courteously. My car is done, looks beautiful, and almost dealer perfect!!! You would never know it had been in two accidents. Ken and Laura, you rock.

Ken and company are really nice people. They gave me a great price and did a superior job. It was easy too. I went one day and quickly got an estimate and I never had to wait either dropping off or picking up my car. I highly recommend them.

I took my car there because a friend of a friend... I didn't want to wait to take my brand new car to the dealer so I took his advise and dropped my car off right away. Mr. Ken was great... this was my first accident so he helped me with a lot of my silly little questions. He gave me a free loaner to avoid the hassle of those silly Hertz people, and took extra great care of my car. When my car was finally delivered to my home, I couldn't be more impressed about how the whole situation turned out. There was a minor scratch on my bumper not related to the accident that was INVISIBLE after the fact. The whole process was smooth and painless!!!! I recommend this body shop to anyone who does not have the time or knowledge to deal with insurance companies or rental cars. They took care of me A to Z !!!

Been in an accident is not a very nice experience, in the pass I got involved in a very bad
Collision, I took my car to the Mercedes Benz body shop, and believe it or not they did an awful job.
Having a new Mercedes with a another accident 2 months later? I don?t know what to do, my friend recommend me Kens Collision, he spoke nothing but wonders of this place.
Me been a little insecure If I should take my car there, I did a little research on them, and found only amazing reviews. The place looks nice and clean, nothing like a regular ?body shop?, the staff is very nice and friendly, young and professional, not only my car looks new again but Mr. Ken repair the other imperfections from the dealer at no cost to me?.!

Im from out of town, ATL to be exact. I came to LA to visit for a few months, I got in a car accident (totally caught me off guard) & didnt know what to do or where to go. I found Kens collision on La city search & read the great reviews & decided to give it a shot!! It was a great relief to me, they were very helpful (excellent customer service), they helped me with my insurance claim & paperwork, they took care of everything for me. It was amazing the way they went out of their way to help me, they got me a rental without any hassle, they kept my car for a few days & when I came to pick up my car! SURPRISE !! It looked better than ever before, there was no trace that I was ever in an accident!! Yay for people like Ken!! I highly recommend to visit this place before you go anywhere else, you wont regret it!

This body and paint shop is in my neighborhood and I am very glad it is. The staff there consists of young and friendly people, not grizzled old cutthroats, and they try their best to please. Ken is down to earth, sincere and accomodating, takes a personal interest in assisting you. This is genuine on his part, not an act put on to hustle customers. That is what you want after being in a car wreck or having freak accidents happen to your vehicle. I have used this shop three times. Once my car was ready when originally quoted. Once it took a day and half longer. And the last time it was ready a day earlier than quoted.

Cons: Poor parking in the surrounding area., which is the City's fault not the repair shop's.

Ken told me that he would get a Mercedes for me to rent, due to the fact that I have an exotic car. 2 weeks into my rental I got a call from Mercury Insurance telling me that I needed to return the Mercedes because they only will pay $35.00 per day. I called up Ken to discuss this matter, whereas he instructed me to keep the Mercedes throughout my repairs and that he would have the rates adjusted with his "friends" at Hertz rental to accommodate Mercury Insurances rates.

After Ken recieved his check from the insurance company, everything really changed. None of my calls regaurding progress where ever returned. I had set up several meetings to follow up with Ken.......he blatently blew me off on every single date that was set.

Ken did not follow through with his promise and Hertz charged my credit card with the complete rental bill of $2,946.34. I was reimbursed $1200.00 from Mercury insurance. I have a $1746.34 balance on my credit card. I would have taken the rental car back to Hertz for an exchange if Ken had not instructed me to keep the Mercedes. As of now Ken is taking no responsibility for the $1746.34 that he owes me. He will not reimburse me the $1746.34 for his actions of instructing me to keep the Mercedes throughout the repair process that he would have adjusted through his "friends" at Hertz.

I contacted Better B u s i n e s s Bureau (BAR) to contact Kens shop to help me reclaim the $1746.34 owed to me for Kens actions and instructions concerning the Mercedes rental car. I also spoke with the Department of Consumer affairs, they called Ken and not to my surprise Ken flat out lied about the whole situation to the Department of Consumer affairs.

When I picked up my car it was a very cloudy day, but the next day as the sun shinned on my Viper it looked like a circus vehicle with 3D buff swirl marks completely covering my car.

Cons: Yes.....it is a con.

Based on all the glowing recommendations here, I decided to stop by Ken's to get a quote on some scratches and chips that I wanted fixed. I was floored when Ken (?) gave me an estimate of $800, but I smiled politely and thought well maybe this is more involved than I think...so I went to 2 other extremely reputable places and for the same work received quotes of $350 and $400. Needless to say, I did not take my car to Ken's.

I took in my 2008 BMW for repairs after being involved in my 1st accident. WOW... right from the start, I got nothing but the BEST service I have ever had anywhere. Jackie helped me very much, and I actually learned from her. She is very friendly, very presentable and knows all about cars. I was very impressed! I was given a rental car while my car was under repairs. Once I picked up my car, it looked amazing... as if it was never in an accident. All I can say, thank God for Kens Collision, and thank you Ms. Jackie!!!!

I have to say this is the best body shop, My 2005 S430 Mercedes Benz came out beautiful. I got a rental pretty quick and my car was done fast. They're very proffesional and Ken wow! very nice person. I defenately recommend Kenz Collision.. Good Job!!!

Yes, I have to say I do LOVE THIS PLACE... So much that I can not go 1 single day without checking out their web-site. I have repaired my car with them an they did a BETTER job than any "high-end" body shop. Personal experience is that the bigger shops charge so much extra stuff. Personally I love this place and their staff. Very good people, professional and friendly. The repairs done to my car are great, and I am very happy!

I was involved in a heavy accident, and I took my car to Kenz Collision Center. I was very impressed with how much the staff knew... They took very good care of me in the time when I was scared & confused. I picked up my car 3 weeks later and it looked great. All the repairs were done to PERFECTION! Color was nice, better than before, and now... I can move on and forget about that awful accident. Thank you Kenz Collision for getting me back on the road.

Kenz Collision Center is the BEST in Hollywod! i was provided with a rental car while my car was being repaired. I took my car for repairs after having my first car accident. This place knows what they are doing... They walked me with the process from A-Z. Staff was very helpful & friendly. My car was done in a timely manner, and it looks great! I hope not to have another accident, but if I do... I have found the perfect repair shop!!!!

This shop rocks!!! When I dropped off my car they got me on my way in 15 minutes... I got the rental car with no drama, assisted me with processing my claim with my insurance. People there are great at what they do. Jackie & Kenny... Super friendly, they are THE BEST!!! Thank you guys for everything, my car looks great.

I was very impressed with all the good reviews, so I decided to check them out. I have made the best choice when it comes to repairing my car! I was greeted by a very friendly staff, they explained to me what the process would be. I was given a rental car at no charge, they even gave my car a complete detail for FREE. I was kept informed of the repair status, and when I picked up my car... IT LOOKED GREAT!!!! I have never been happier... GREAT SERVICE, Quality is AMZING.

I have a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee and had an accident that really messed up the front fenders, grill, lights and doors. I was honestly thinking should I just sell it as the cost of repair would be more than the car was actually worth. KENZ to the rescue! Not only did they repair or replace all the body parts needed but also painted the whole Jeep and removed other blemishes on the vehicle and detailed the whole thing. Our Jeep looks brand new, even better than it did when I got it. I also saved a bundle $$$$! I would highly recommend Kenz for all your auto body needs. All the people there are courteous and professional.

So I got into a wreck with my new car. I was upset & lost, I did not know what to do. I searched the internet for clues on where to take my car. I came across Kenz Collision Center.... After reading their reviews and checking out their website, it all made sence! I called them after hours, even though they were closed for the day, they had their tow truck pick up my car off the street ( I felt leaving it out would be unsafe). The very next morning, happy staff picked me up at home, helped me complete my claim with my insurance, got me a rental car @ no charge to me, and to make things better, they gave me coffee while I was waiting. They are great at what they do. Repairs were awsome, and service.... go see it, You will love them!

I Found Kenz Collision here on citysearch. All I can say is that they do remarkable work. My car was a complete wreck, way beyond repairs in my mind. Kenz helped me with my insurance claim, and gave me a loaner car at no charge. When I picked up my car, it was amazing!!!!! my car look better than it was before my accident. I was involved in my very first car accident just 10 days after leasing a new BMW. I was concern about the extend of damage to the car. I was told by a friend about Kenz Collision Center, and after reviewing their website, I was very pleased with what I saw. Once I picked up my car, Ken gave me the inspection sheet from the BMW dealer, assuring me that everything was perfect, and I would have no problems when my lease is up. Being that I only drove my car for 10 days, I felt like I was driving away from a dealer with a new car all over again. Thank you for your help, the quality in tha repairs and for your outstanding customer service.

AFTER BEING IN A CAR ACCIDENT I WAS LOST & CONFUSED. MY INSURANCE RECOMENDED THAT I TAKE MY CAR TO KENZ COLLISION. I TOOK THE ADVISE AND I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Scared after my accident, I did not know what to do. I visited Kenz Collision Center on line, and from there on it was a breeze. After getting in contact with them, they picked up my my car, picked me up from my work place, helped me with my claim process, got me a loaner car, and off I went. Soon enough, my car was ready, and let me tell you... THEY DO THE BEST WORK EVER! They truly stand by their promise. This was the BEST choice I have ever made. Thank you for all your help & all the great work.

This was the BEST experience I've had with an auto body shop. The friendly staff assisted me with reporting my claim to my insurance company. They towed my car in from an OPG garage at no charge to me, then they helped with getting me a rental car without a reservation. The repairs to my car were incredible, they do amazing work!!! I am very happy to say that by far they are THE BEST!!!

I was very impressed by the website, even more when I took my car to Kenz Collision Center. The staff is great, they explained verything in detail, and helped me file my claim with my insurance company, even got me a rental car through my policy. I was nervous about getting my car just anywhere, but it was my veru first accident and did not have any other source except the internet. I was told about Kenz Collision Center by a co-worker after he heard I was in a car accident. I gave them a call... and WOW!!!! Exceptional service from the very first minute. Their tow truck driver met me at my home, they explained everything with detais, and I really had no other questions. To make things even better, they painted a mall scratch on my bumper at no charge. That is OUTSTANDING customer service. I have to say they are the best shop I know. My BWM looks great, and I am happy with all they did for me.

One phone call away, and they were there in 10 minutes, explained the processes of the claim & repairs, got me a rental car, and I was on my way.
