I just love the Royal Oak..I have been going with my family since I was 2 years old and falling asleep in the booths ! The Steak is great! They serve a great salad crisp on a chilled pewter plate with the best thousand island dressing. All of their entrees are sure to please. They have a piano player there and people can sing songs with Steve Lawless. He has been there for over 20 years and can play almost any song ! The owners are the sweetest people in the community.

After dining at Royal Oak a couple of summers ago, I insist on eating here every time I go to Arrowhead. The bread and butter is similar to the one's you get at steak houses like Ruth's Chris or Flemmings, and all the entrees I have had here have been generous in portion size, flavorful and made with quality ingredients. Some of my favorites include the shrimp cocktail, steak and the desserts that come on a tray for you to choose from-my favorites are the bread pudding and pecan pie! The atmosphere is nice and cozy, typical mountain restaurant, and it gets pretty crowded here during lunch and dinner time so I would recommend making reservations. Prices are high but worth it for the quality of the food and the nice atmosphere. Great location right in Blue Jay Village, parking and a very friendly staff!

The great thing about the Royal Oak is that you can enjoy fine dining, or sit and listen to music in a tavern atmosphere. The prime rib in the dining room is out of this world. The plush seating is very regal. I've been going there for 27 or so years now, and I have always felt like I was somewhere very special. The prices are high, but the quality is there. Reservations are a must!
