I thought the shop was great. I got good service and I was in a hurrry. The place looked clean, too. It's also located a few doors down from Master Dentist, Dr. Roger Garrett. He's been the gem in that little mall for over 30 years.

I absolutely agree with the last posting. I too had the drill pulled out and ran along the sides of my feet for about 30 seconds. Never did the girl doing my pedicure tell me it would be an extra charge, I thought it was part of the pedicure. I got my bill and thought WTF? I paid it and even gave the gal a tip. However, after telling a few friends what happened they laughed and told me I got ripped off. I called the Salon and spoke to Van and asked for a refund of $10.00. She told me that they would give me a free 10 minute massage. Oh... here's the catch, I needed to come back for another pedicure to redeem it. No thanks Van. I will just dispute the charge with my CC company. I can't imagine you would stay in business much longer with the way you steal from people. My recommendation... fine another salon to go to these people are theives! Oh... one more thing, when I asked Van what came with the pedicure, she told me just polish change,. I asked, don't you buff the feet too... she said, "no"... that 5 dollar extra. Who pay's $25.00 for a polish change? Then she told me to check around... that's the going price. I think Van is smokin something!

I went here with a friend and we had an appointment. We had to wait 30 minutes before they started on us (we were in a time crunch as it was). The place wasn't packed, but it was busy considering there were only 3 people working. They quoted us $28 for a pedicure, it ended up being $38, and they didn't even do any other services to account for the added $10 fee. The place was dirty and they did a bad pedicure job. The lady was friendly, but I will never go back to this place. I guess they think they can charge an arm and a leg for a bad pedicure because of the location, but I would rather drive an extra five minutes to Woodland Hills and pay half the price for a job 3 times as good. My advice: find another nail salon.

Pros: Easy to get an appt...geez, I wonder why?

Cons: Everything else!

There are a hundreds of other nail salons in the area, so you should go to them instead! I needed an emergency manicure/pedicure, and this place was right next door and ALWAYS empty, so I took a chance. For starters, the salon is not very sanitary. There are trash bags everywhere filled with waste and old newspapers. None of the operators speak clear english, which I'm patient with usually, but the front lady was very pushy and had a harsh tone. Maybe it was the language barrier, but she wasn't very friendly. They first tried to trick me into a delux manicure/pedicure. I said, very clearly, "no thank you", but she still decided to give me one anyway, even though I said NO. She also decided to use a drill-powered scrubber on the bottom of my feet. She said NOTHING to me before hand, so I figured it was included with the price of a regular service. She rushed through both services and did not do a very good job on the paint job. I had to ask her to make multiple corrections (and honestly, I am never picky, but this was ridiculous). As I went to pay, I was told my total would be $61, however, I was quited $35 when I first arrived. Apprently, even though I CLEARLY said NO to the delux offer, she went ahead and did it anyway, which was even more confusing seeing as she rushed through everything and did a horrible job. Then, to add fuel to the fire, they had the audacity to charge me an extra $10 for the drill-powered buffing. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Not once did they ask me if I wanted that nor did they say anything about it being $10. Oh, just in case you are wondering, the drill-powered buffering is NOT included with the delux services. This place is such a rip off! Everyone there, 3 women and 1 VERY UNFRIENDLY man, are complete scam artists. And they don't accept credit card.....how do you run a business like that?? Ridiculous! Save yourself and don't bother going to this salon!!
