Emerald Cut

A month ago, I got an amazing haircut & style from Dyane. Not only she give awesome hairwashes, she adds a touch of a good welcoming massage. =) Dyane is also a fantastic listener to the desired looks I like, and yet, with her trustworthy expertise in cosmetology, she is very honest and gives good suggestions of certain hairstyles that I like also the would match my facial features. Dyane gives great advices also for hair maintance& how to create faboulous hairstyles for my nights out. I am very happy with my new fun look, and awesome haircut by Dyane. Definitely, my visit there was worth it! Best of all, the prices all very very reasonable. =) keep it up Dyane! Hugs, Tina

An overall good experience. Emerald Cut Salon has a clean atmosphere and a great stylist in Dyane. Dyane is very cute, caring and smart. Dyane listened to what I said and she worked with me. Dyane is a very good stylist and I will be using her in the future.

If you are looking for a hairdresser who is patience, listens, and has the skills set, give Emerald Cut Salon a try. I enjoyed my haircut at Emerald Cut Salon because the staff is friendly, the environment is comfortable, and my hairdresser Dyane really listens to my needs. I left away very satisfied with the result. I had an idea of what I wanted and Dyane assisted me in putting something fun!

Just moved to HB and the hardest thing about moving is finding a good hair stylist. I saw this hair salon when i was eatting at carrows. So i stopped by and a very cute stylist name Dyane helpled me and she did a GREAT job. Im glad i found my stylist and now im going to be a regular.

I am very picky when it comes to haircut. A friend of mine was telling me she got her hair done at Emerald Cut. I started to check out by searching reviews about Emerald Cut salon prior to making appointment.

Emerald Cut salon is so cute and they hired the best hairstylist there. The atmosphere was great and my hair was phenomenal. I received compliments about my hair from friends and relatives how great I look.

Just ask for Bo, the hairstylist, when you call for appointment. Best haircut and salon in Huntington Beach at an affordable price.

Bo did an excellent job on my haircut. I had my haircut done at many other salons and they usually do it very quick and get it over. Bo not only took his time and detailed my hair thoroughly, but also making sure that I was happy with my haircut . This is something I do not find at other salon. I am very pleased with the result that I received and definitely will come back. Emerald Cut is a salon for everyone who is very picky of finding a great hairstylist this is a salon that I would highly recommend.

I took a chance on these great reviews and tried out this salon. Summer did an awesome job on my cut and color. I would highly recommend her. One of the best cuts I have ever had and first time with highlights...turned out fabulous- she is a true artist with hair and very meticulous, which I really appreciate!

Summer Ellis no longer runs EC Salon in HB. She's currently at Salon Cache on Warner and Springdale. If you're looking for a great stylist and a great atmosphere, make sure you give her a call for an appointment at 714-595-1900. Tell her you heard about her move from Tammy! I will follow Summer where ever she moves, for sure!

Summer does an amazing job every time I come in for a cut. I saw her before my wedding last August and she put me at ease about not doing something too drastic before the big day. Unfortunately, I moved to Colorado and have yet to find someone as awesome as her. Instead of risking it with someone I don't know out here, I waited until I went home for Christmas. She turned my boring straight hair into the cutest, modern haircut (with short bangs that I love!). Unlike the other reviews, I do not think Emerald Cut is expensive. If you are getting it colored and cut then maybe, but for a wash, cut and style it is well worth it. Thanks, Summer!

I agree with Katie - the prices are high, but I got a fantastic cut and color from Fallyn. The vibe of the salon is very chic and modern and this was also the hairstyle I got...a sassy modernization of my same old cut and a lovely, unique color. The owner is tons of fun and we had a great time chatting. I was very pleased with my experience but have to be honest - I received a special promotional price...if I have to pay full price I won't be able to go too often ! :( (Cut/color w/foil about $120 w/o tip)

I went into the E.C. Salon (formerly the Emerald Cut Salon) last week and was absolutely shocked to see that IT IS SOOOOOO MUCH BETTER NOW! Before it was a little uncomfortable and kind of tacky. It is now classy, comfortable and hip....and is no longer "My Mom's Salon".

The quality of service is far superior than it once was, and my hair looked great!! There are new people there and everyone is super friendly.

I was a bit skeptical when I first went to Emerald cut... my old hairdresser had just moved out of state, so, needless to say, I didn't trust just anybody.
But as soon as I walked in I felt very comfortable, and they all treated me like a queen. I can't even believe how awesome my hair looks. My new hairdresser, I hate to say, puts my old one to shame. The atmosphere is so energetic and positive. The prices were well within my budget and better than most places I had called. I look forward to my next appointment with these gals.

I went to Emerald Cut after I learn that my old hairstylists went out of business. I got to admit, Emerald Cut did a great and awesome job cutting my hair. The hairstylist was very professional and like he could read my mind. After 30 mins in a chair, I ended up with a beautiful hair cut. However, the price is high compare to my old one, but I guess it was well worth it.

I usually get my friend or someone I know to cut my hair for me because I don't think it's really worth paying 20 bucks to get it cut straight across, but this place has always been the only place that I would get my hair cut at. I come here if I want something special like layering or a specific type of special hairstyle. They're certainly not cheap, but they're worth it.
