I guess if your someone who likes to go and sit in a bookstore to read it has a nice atmosphere to do so. Also, they have an enourmous selection of books so you can usually find what you want. The prices could be lower, although you get a discount card..but, I believe you have to purchase it...so, unless you purchase a lot of books, it isn't worth it since you can get a larger savings at one of the local stores.
I like studying at the Borders because it's quiet and being surrounded by new books promotes a feeling of academia in me. This bookstore is kinda like a "megastore" with dvds, cds, as well as a cafe in addition to books. You could spend all day browsing the selection. If they dont have what you need they could order it for you as well.
They really need more workers here. Its a nice environment to lounge around in but when you can't find something, a sales associate is even harder to find. You almost always have to walk back to the information desk to get help. A few more people walking around would really help and leave less customers confused about where things are.
I HAD LUNCH HERE THE OTHER DAY WITH MY FRIEND AND WE HAD A BLAST. THE FOOD SELECTION ISNT THAT GREAT BUT WHAT SANDWHICHES AND DRINKS THEY OFFERED WERE VERY DELICIOUS AND FILLING. I DIDNT LIKE THAT THE NUTRITIONAL FACTS WERE NOT POSTED WHICH IS ILLIEGAL BUT THE FOOD AND GREAT EMPLOYEES MADE UP FOR IT. WE READ BOOKS ATE LUNCH AND FOOTED A 12$ BILL. IT WAS THE MOST FUN WE HAD IN A LONG TIME AND I WILL RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!
This place is busy on weekend nights. Usually they have some kind of concert thing going on on Sat night (buy your lattes first, they won't use the noisy milk steamer while there's music played). They also have a wide selection of music to buy and you can order what they don't have. I also like their self-service computers so you can find things on your own.
this place is a really nice place to get a book, rent a movie, or grab a small bite to eat. they have a huge selection of books (they are primarilty a book store),but dont really have too many movies, so thats up to you. the food is mostly a light bite to eat while you read, nothing really that huge for lunch or dinner.
Borders is a good place to shop for books. It's also a nice place if you just want to get away and forget your problems. They have chairs that you can sit in and flip through the magazines or books. There is even a cafe incase you need some fuel while you're there. They also have a good selection of music. Their prices are close to other bookstores, they offer discount cards that can help bring it down. Parking is ok. Customer service is a little snooty, they seem to be too busy to be bothered to ask for help but they have little kiosks where you can basically help yourself.
Borders hasnt really been on my A-list of book stores, but its not bad either. They do a decent job with their store (even if its a little small compared to competitors) and they actually do have a lot of the latest books, and most of the time can hold them for you. The service is good and they are well trained (they can find any book for you), an overall good store.
This Borders is in a great shopping center - everything you need is right around you: Target, Coffee Bean, Old Navy, Mimi's... etc.
They have a decent selection of books, and their music choices are impressive. Their cafe is decent sized, but often very crowded. It is not easy to find a place to sit and study or read, unfortunately.
Borders is a wonderful place to get some nice books or other sophisticated-type of materials. It seems like a more mature version of Barnes and Noble and has either the same or lower pricing than them. The staff is nice and always manages to greet everyone when they enter, and sometimes they have really cheap books that I had interest in. A pretty good book store overall.
Everytime I need a new book, I always drop by Borders. I think its better than Barnes and Nobles, because its more home-like and I feel more comfortable just grabbing a book and getting lost there. I think their pricing is better and I almost always leave with more then I thought I was going to get. Borders is the place to be.
Borders has a great library of books, from bestsellers to those that are less popular. Their sales are great, grab a few books for reduced prices and sometimes save even more. The pricing is great compared to some other book stores, but I did have trouble finding one book that I originally went to find. The store is friendly, quiet and soothing. They even let you have a little preview read if you want. Just take a seat and get to it.
