Just OKAY 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I went to Beba a couple of times. They're pretty quick, but not very private. They kind of leave the door slightly open while waxing which can be a little embarrassing for those who are shy.

Pros: quick
Cons: privacy

Great place! I love it 5 Star Rating - World class

Based upon a friend's recommendation, I tried Beba Beauty. Agi is terrific - facial and waxing is wonderful. And great value too. Parking behind the salon is convenient.

Mediocre Facial 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I anticipated a more spa-like experience, but the reality didn't live up to my expectations. Amenities like full doors and a waiting area were missing. (The "doors" were just half-doors open at bottom and top). I went for a facial, and the aesthetician in and out for most of the facial - no paraffin for hands or extras like that - just one very quick massage of the neck and head. At one point the receptionist came in and interrupted the session. It was a mediocre facial - not worth $80. You can go to Burke Williams for $105. For $50 maybe I would go back.

Day of Beauty not as advertised 2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

Five of us had traveled from out of town to get together at Beba for their Day of Beauty. When I made the reservations, I specifically asked what is included for the $250 Day of Beauty, and was told the items you have listed above. I was assured that all 5 of us would be out of there by 3 p.m. The owner obviously had not planned well, because we didn't received all the services promised (even though we were still charged for them), and were still there much longer than we were supposed to be.

None of us were given the body wrap or the hydrating body treatment and we were there until 4:30 p.m. The facial, massage, and manicure/pedicure were great. I would suggest just paying for those items individually. The esthetician who gave the facials also applied the make-up. She's great at facials, but terrible at makeup! We all left with big rosy cheeks, and had to go back to the hotel to reapply our own.

Also, don't let them arrange for a wash & style with the hairdresser next door. She's way over priced and I guarantee you won't be happy with it.

We all thought we would be ready for a night on the town, but after spending 7 hours (most of the time sitting in the entrance with our robes on waiting for service), we had to rush around to fix our hair and makeup before we could go out.

It was very disappointing for all of us. If I ever plan to spend the day at a spa again, I will not go back there. If I'm ever in LA and need a facial or massage, I would consider it.

Pros: Employees are well trained at their jobs
Cons: Don't keep their promises

Best affordable, good wax in LA 5 Star Rating - World class

I've tried a bunch of waxing places but Beba Beauty is the best choice for affordable, good Brazilian waxes. I always get one with Aggie! She's nice, makes you feel comfortable, and tries to make the experience less painful and awkward. Also, they are very accommodating to your schedule. They don't open until 10:00 AM but they've always squeezed me in before when I'm super busy.

Pros: Affordable, accommodating to your schedule
Cons: None
