Going downhill
by Mitchell R.
This place used to be kind of good I don't know what has happened. I just was there and every table had some things on it from customers, not one table had been bussed. I placed a order for my wife and myself, after the usual wait the food was delivered to our table, my order was wrong so I had to go up and let them know. After some more waiting I got my order burnt, and I let them know I had a dollar coming back to me because what I had ordered was $1 cheaper, this was ignored. It is sad to see a nice little place go down for no reason, I live just around the corner from this place and I used to love the food. Don't waste your time going here anymore, sad to say if you don't speak Spanish, you don't count.

Addictive mexican food

About once a week I make a beeline for this colorful tacqueria sharing the parking lot with 7-11. I always get the same thing - four carnitas tacos, with chopped onions, cilantro and the hottest salsa they have. Nothing could be better, or cheaper - $5.00. The vegetarian tacos and the flauta plate come highly recommended as well. The meats for the various dishes are freshly cooked for each order and the meals are hot off the grill and very tasty.
If you get there just at noon, you won't wait long. But the line triples in size within about 2 minutes once the lunch hour is in full swing. There's a great jukebox with millions of songs you haven't heard of. Fun to try if you're last in line. It's always relatively clean, and the people are very friendly. They're tolerant of bad spanish too! It's a good idea to get the food for takeout, as it can be quite noisy and crowded at times.
