I go there for the magazines. They have a good collection of past issues of MOJO, and usually have up to date MOJO issues, as well as Q and a few others.
I wish they had women's T-shirts, but they do have an nice selection of men's T-shirts.
Their selection of cds is leans largely on the alt side, which I like. If I collected vinyl I might be happy, but I don't so I can't report on that selection, so if this is your interest I'd certainly stop by and see whats up! :-)

Off the record is another local record store here in san diego. They carry everything from the newer vinyls to older more rare collectables. They also sell used records, so if you're on a budget, heres your chance to pick up some records to add to the collection. Weather you're a modern dj or just a plain old vinyl collector, you may want to check this store out to expand you arsenal.

If you are looking for new and used vinyl records in San Diego, this is the place to be. In addition to records, they had tons of hard to find CDs and local bands, and very helpful staff.
SPECIAL NOTE: Off The Record just openned a new location in North Park! They are located at 2912 University Ave., right next to Claire de Lune coffee house.

This is one of the best music stores in town. They carry rare collectors items, used CD's, new CD's and vinyl. The staff loves music and their recommended selections are sure to please. They are very willing to special order most items and they will buy your used CD's.
