Great combinations at a reasonable price
by Cali G.
This dumpling house has great combinations of noodle soups and dumplings. I like the beef soup/ veggie dumpling combo. Hard to beat for $6.
A hidden treat that's worth the wait. Bring your appetite and cash. No credit cards accepted here.

This place has pretty good noodles, but for a place called "Luscious Dumplings," they ought to have the absolute tastiest dumplings in the area. Only one type of dish accomplished that -- the Fried Pork dumplings. These were great, but the rest of the meal was unextraordinary. All their other dumplings are...bleah. Maybe it's just because most of their dumpling options are boiled (if you like boiled dumplings, this is a good place to go) -- in my opinion, boiled dumplings tend to be pretty tasteless, and thus, far from "luscious."
During the summer, this small restaurant can get cramped and humid, as they have no air conditioning. And towards dinnertime, the sun shines right through the glass windows and doors, so you get blinded every time someone walks in or out. I imagine winter time would be the perfect time to come here.

Great noodle soups -- all the beef ones are incredibly yummy. The pickled pork one isn't as awesome. The combos (~$6) come with noodle soup and dumplings. Their dumplings are wonderful, because the wrappers are thick and hand-made -- much better than Dumpling house, which uses really thin, flimsy wrappers.
They close rather early for dinner -- so get there early (also b/c they run out of dumplings).

Dumpling Heaven
by warren g.
i have been coming to this restaurant for years. They opened up i believe in 2002 or so and soon after my girlfriend and i tried it. we were hooked. i love dumplings and they do them pretty damn good..
there was a period of time we went there every week. and got the know the waiters.. they always treat us very well.
one thing though.. it can get very busy there during the lunch and dinner rush, so make sure you get there early, cuz if you are late, they are gonna run out of dumplings. and noodles.
i recommend the chive dumplings and of course the stir fried ones also. my girlfriend is Chinese so i let her do all the ordering.. cuz i not sure what im doing.. =) anyhow. good service, good food, small place but friendly, family owned. i believe its just father, mother, aunt and 2 sons running the place.. they always run out of dumplings toward teh end of night, which means they are doing good business.
