We love the dumplings here. The pork pan fried dumpling is the best. The beef noodle is light but I had better somewhere else.

Heard many reviews about this place and we wanted to try it out. The most immediate thing that struck us was the wait. It's a tiny little shop (like only ~8-10 tables total in the whole restaurant!) (and small tables at that), so it's really easy to see the restaurant get filled up and have to wait.

There is a really limited, small menu (not a bad thing), but not much variety of Dumplings as a result. We decided to try a standard - Chives, Pork, Shrimp Dumplings (Jiou Tsai Zhu Rou Jiao), and it was definitely handmade goodness! Nice skin and texture on the Dumpling, that wasn't too thick or thin. However the Filling itself was a bit too salty for my tastes. And the Flavor was good, but I've had better.

We also tried the "pork, fried" (Jian Zhu Ruo Jiao) essentially Gyoza, pan-fried dumplings, and they were so-so. It was far too oily, being plated and sitting in a pool of oil, kind of off-putting.

But overall, it was really cheap ($6 for each dish). Given the flavors and limited menu, it's a good place if you're in the neighborhood, but we felt Dumplings 10053 and 101 Noodle Express were both better / tastier.

This is the best dumpling place in the LA area. You have to try the dumplings with pork soup inside. The fried pork dumplings are amazing too! They are very fast, and although there may be a wait, it moves very quickly. This also means it isn't the place to linger. You may want to check out the dessert place in the same center for more chatting time. If you like dumplings, this is a must try!

Pros: Amazing food that's resonably priced

Cons: bad ambience, not a place to sit and chat

This dumpling house has great combinations of noodle soups and dumplings. I like the beef soup/ veggie dumpling combo. Hard to beat for $6.

A hidden treat that's worth the wait. Bring your appetite and cash. No credit cards accepted here.

if you're going for lunch, get there before 11:30am or else be prepared to wait 15 min to 1/2 hr. but the dumplings are definitely worth it. simple, small restaurant matches the menu. i really liked the pan fried dumplings although the steamed dumplings are good too. the noodle soup was also tasty after you add spices to it. haven't tried the veggie dumplings, but the folks at the table next to us enjoyed them.

Pros: delicious dumplings, cheap, mini mall parking

Cons: could be long waits

This place has pretty good noodles, but for a place called "Luscious Dumplings," they ought to have the absolute tastiest dumplings in the area. Only one type of dish accomplished that -- the Fried Pork dumplings. These were great, but the rest of the meal was unextraordinary. All their other dumplings are...bleah. Maybe it's just because most of their dumpling options are boiled (if you like boiled dumplings, this is a good place to go) -- in my opinion, boiled dumplings tend to be pretty tasteless, and thus, far from "luscious."
During the summer, this small restaurant can get cramped and humid, as they have no air conditioning. And towards dinnertime, the sun shines right through the glass windows and doors, so you get blinded every time someone walks in or out. I imagine winter time would be the perfect time to come here.

At first I was skepticle about the word 'luscious', but once I ate there, I completely understood why! GET THERE EARLY FOR DINNER! They close at 8, and they start running out of their limited menu items around 6:45. Order almost anything off their menu: dumplings only, noodles only, dumplings and noodles combo, and their side dishes are all excellent, too. Very inexpensive and tasty, they also get pretty busy some nights and service can be slow since they only have 1 or 2 people working the floor, but their food is excellent and extreamly fresh. My favorite dumpling house in San Gabriel Valley (although I prefer Dumpling Master in Monterey Park for a wider range of food including also excellent dumplings)

Pros: luscious!, good parking, fresh

Great noodle soups -- all the beef ones are incredibly yummy. The pickled pork one isn't as awesome. The combos (~$6) come with noodle soup and dumplings. Their dumplings are wonderful, because the wrappers are thick and hand-made -- much better than Dumpling house, which uses really thin, flimsy wrappers.

They close rather early for dinner -- so get there early (also b/c they run out of dumplings).

The dumplings and soup here are great. They have soup dumplings that are so good, just make sure to call because sometimes they run out of food and close early. It is so worth it though!

Their menu is simple - about 7 dumpling options and about 7 noodle soup options - but, the food quality is very tasty. My favorites are the pan friend dumplings, but they also have steamed dumplings as well. If you like noodle soup dishes, try the stewed beef noodles. I recommend this place.

i have been coming to this restaurant for years. They opened up i believe in 2002 or so and soon after my girlfriend and i tried it. we were hooked. i love dumplings and they do them pretty damn good..
there was a period of time we went there every week. and got the know the waiters.. they always treat us very well.
one thing though.. it can get very busy there during the lunch and dinner rush, so make sure you get there early, cuz if you are late, they are gonna run out of dumplings. and noodles.
i recommend the chive dumplings and of course the stir fried ones also. my girlfriend is Chinese so i let her do all the ordering.. cuz i not sure what im doing.. =) anyhow. good service, good food, small place but friendly, family owned. i believe its just father, mother, aunt and 2 sons running the place.. they always run out of dumplings toward teh end of night, which means they are doing good business.

A fantastic family run spot where every dumpling is freshly made every day. The staff is efficient and seating is quick. The food is amazing. The soups are wonderful and the dumplings are the best my family has ever had. We drive 20 miles at least once a week for these!
