Roberto's was my go to place when I was feeling hungry and needed something to eat after being out too late. Luckily they were one of the few places that were open late and satisfied my greasy food cravings then. I lived across the street so it was nice and easily accessible for me.

It's funny how when you're out after a late night of partying that you get hungry really quick. Or you may just be craving a burrito sometime during the day. The Roberto's Taco Shop on Mission Blvd is a great place to grab a bite to eat and chill with friends while they eat. Whether it's the California burrito or Carne Asada fries this place can fill you up without costing you very much. The service is pretty good but sometimes the place can be full and there may not be seating available. There's also a the usual inebriated folk who stumble in or never come out of the bathroom. Other than that though the food is good and memories are sure to be made after a few nights there.

After a late night birthday party, we walked over to roberto's which is 2 blocks from the resort we stayed at. Definite bonus for being open late night, we got there at 2 am. Definitely try the torta de carnitas which is full of meat. The bean and cheese burrito was excellent, one of the best I've had, especially with their house salsa. Although it is a bit overpriced - 1 taco for $2.70 - they offer some good bargains.
