They have a multimillion dollar inventory and really folks, if the guitar YOU want is on their wall, they'll hike up the ladder one more time if you show a little sincerity. If you go in there to looky-loo, just smile and say hello. You'll be surprised to find how friendly they are when they see you're not a member of the Manson family.

went to vintage gear a week ago and was amp shopping. they had this really awesome ampeg and i fell in love. the guys are always gettin good gear.
i even bought this really cool coily cable for only $30!
best shop in la!

I am not from Los Angeles, so i was that much more impressed by the incredible selection of vintage guitars, amps. and pedals.
It was a real treat discussing vintage musical equipment with the two young gentlemen there at the time, as they seemed more knowledgeable than most about ALL vintage musical instruments!
They made me a great package deal, and I was able to fly home with a whole new rig!

I frequent Vintage Gear Hollywood and regularly visit the numerous guitar stores in the greater Los Angeles area, and VINTAGE GEAR HOLLYWOOD IS THE BEST!
Vintage Gear features the best staff, the most plentiful stock, superior knowledge and service, convenient hours, and best atmosphere of any store.
I have done considerable business with the gentlemen at Vintage Gear and they are always anxious to expedite all processes in a friendly and professional manner.
They specialize in mostly vintage items, such as: guitars, basses, effects, amplifiers, synths, accessories, etc.
Always willing to negotiate.

Met these guys over the phone from the opposite coast. I e-mailed a question & they answered with a personal call. That just doesn't happen in our world today. Personal attention from the owner to a stranger! That made the sale and will make others from me...shipping charges and all. I'd rather do business at VINTAGE GEAR than my hometown music stores. The service is better and the people are nicer. Thanks, J.P.

Vintage and New musical instruments (mostly guitars and basses) as a very reasonable price. The owner and staff are very friendly and are always willing to help. You're welcome to try out anything in the store. They will always sell their gear for what they cost unlike many other guitar stores.
