This shop is a wonderful location to purchase top-quality pipe tobacco. Their house blend alone makes it worth a visit. The owner is very knowledgeable about his craft and willing to help customers, within bounds. When I still smoked cigarettes, I was disappointed at their selection of rolling tobacco. It was limited to American Spirits (crap) and Bali Shag (great), but I wish they had more unusual varieties. A friend of mine once went here asking for "blunt wraps," and the owner was not amused and growled that this wasn't that kind of smoke shop. But, he sold him rolling papers anyway. Pot heads stay away, but if you like to smoke cigars or tobacco pipes, this store is a gem.
I went in here to see what they had back during my college days when I used to smoke a little. This place has got some real character. You walk in and it smells delicious. Pleasant tobacco aroma wafts through the air and wood pipes and decorative pieces give the place a cabin feel. They have all sorts of hard to find cigarettes and everything you'll need to roll your own. I went here and bought tobacco to roll myself and smoke, I don't remember what it was exactly, but it is one of my more pleasant memories from college.
I'm not a smoker but I bought my grandpa a new pipe here... they had a very fine and elegant selection of pipes, accessories, and tobacco. The tobacco smells WONDERFUL. I love even walking near the store. The ambiance is great, and though this caters to an older crowd, if you are a pipe/cigar afficionado, there are couches to lounge in and a great atmosphere. Very pricey though.
