We invite you to Parkside Grille for an experience that most would call the "perfect Northern California restaurant setting". Our family owned restaurant is tucked among towering redwoods with stunning views of beautiful Portola Valley. In addition to our unique setting our dishes are bold, uncomplicated, and made with fresh local ingredients. Two PRIVATE ROOMS are now available accommodating from 10-55. Full bar, skylight vaulted ceilings and lots of windows showcase the redwood shaded summer patio and the surrounding hills.

Good food and kid friendly too. Solid assortment of salads, burgers, pastas, and specials of the day. Nice setting with outdoor seating. Some customers come by horse! We like coming here in the summer and sitting outside.

Portola Valley doesn't have many restaurants but this is a great restaurant to sit, relax and take your time. It is off the beaten path nestled in Portola Valley They have outdoor seating and the air smells delightfully piney. Not a large restaurant but good ambiance. Very good food and excellent service. It is upscale California dining. Take the other half to lunch or dinner and enjoy a nice quiet get away feeling.

We discovered this little gem in Portola Valley when we were treating friends from across the Bay, but we've been back many times on our own account. The atmosphere is cozy, and it's not too loud there for conversation. Everything I've ordered has been fresh and delicious. Jack loves the pizzas, but they have a good variety on the menu, sometimes with Greek influence dishes. Since the restaurant is in a strip mall, there is always parking.

Great neighborhood restaurant to grab a dinner. I really love the way we are treated by the staff. Very attentive. REminds me of my favorite place back home in Texas.

Ratings_icons Great for lunch or dinner

Elaineone

We have been going to Parkside Grill since Bill has been the owner, which has been several years. The food is always outstanding. Bill has an excellent chef (we love his specials) and a good wine list. The service and his employees or the best. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The location is quiet and relaxing. We eat there and take our friends there whenever possible. Elaine & Bill

PS: If you can get past all the other great items on the menu try the hamburger with onion rings. You will not be sorry.

Pros: Parking is good

Ratings_icons The food is to die for-I CRAVE THIS FOOD

alvinandlucy

So, the farfalle pasta, the prime rib, the warm spinach scallop salad are on my top 10 foods list! I always swing by whenever I go to a Sharks game, or a concert in San Jose. I wish that they were in Marin! The staff is amazing too, and the owner brought us over some champagne for our anniversary! How sweet is that! I like that the chef comes out and regularly greet the guests, so personable. Warm, inviting and the food is amazing

Pros: food,service,ambiance,wine list, parking

Cons: not closer to me

My wife and I found this restaurant about 3 years ago (b4 we were married) while cruising through the beauty of Portola Valley. We stopped that night and had a great meal. When we were engaged, we selected this restaurant for our Rehearsal Dinner and everyone had a great time. Now that we are married, we go out to the Restaurant for a romantic dinner about once a month. It really is a special place!

Pros: Reasonably Priced, Romantic Setting, Great Food

Cons: , Fri/Sat can be busy, Call for Reservation

Ratings_icons Dine Under the Redwoods!!!

This is a great restaurant hidden away in beautiful Portola Valley. If the weather is nice, eating under the giant trees is a real treat. The food was excellent and the service fast and friendly. Check this one out for a romantic evening getaway.

Pros: Easy Parking, Excellent Wine List, Friendly Staff
