Thai Classic Massage

$40 per hour for a massage is the cheapest you can get around town. I love this place so much and I'm tempted to not share it with the world, but I want them to get the business because they deserve it! They are very professional and so friendly, and Sean is the best masseur I've ever had! He knows my trouble spots so well now and I feel like a million bucks every time I leave there (I go once a week or every two weeks). Nothing beats this place! Their last massage is at 8:30pm...can't beat those hours!

Thai Classic Massage is as good as any of the Thai Massage Spas in Bangkok and Chaing Mai. I try to get a massage every four weeks for the past 4 years and after a visit to Thailand last year I now only get a traditional Thai Massage. Thai massages are great for anyone with back and leg problems. I have a recurring sciatic nerve problem that subsides for 3-4 weeks after a massage. Massages and stretching for me are better than having unreliable back surgery. Any massage can be uncomfortable for first-timers (due to the toxins being released in the muscles) but the benefits outweigh the temporary discomfort. Remember to breath and relax during the massage. Drink plenty of water after the massage to help your body eliminate the toxins that are released into your system. I have had at least 4 of their therapists and they perform basically the same massage with just slight variations. Definitely worth every penny of $40 for an hour. A great present for any spouse or partner.

A friend at work has been telling me about Poomy (?) and her great neck massages. Poomy rocks! $40 never felt so good. I haven't had too many Thai massages but I can't imagine it getting much better than this. A comfy simple quiet place that's just about the massage. I highly recommend.

Pros: Great value. Great massage.

Thai Classic Massage is traditional Thai massage at its very best. A humble oasis hidden in a strip mall in Hollywood offers exceptional massage therapy from a friendly mature staff. The environment is clean, relaxing and humble. You won't find Posh Spice here. Frequented by women & men equally- the therapists are highly skilled and really try hard to serve you. My only complaint is the occassional turnover of their staff. A family run business, there's nothing extra provided here whatsoever! I highly recommend that you give them a try. You won't be disappointed. The best value in massage that I've found in Los Angeles!

For someone who needs to get regular massage for chronic pain, it's very hard to find a place that is inexpensive, clean and offers a strong, good massage. Thai Classic is all of these things. The atmosphere is not exceptional, but it is clean and that's all the matters. There are signs all over the place that say "Sex is never part of a massage -- don't ask!" Some might find that off-putting, but I find it reassuring. The staff is friendly, always smiling and accomodating. The $35/hour rate is the best I've ever come across for a decent place.

I read the other reviews and thought I should add my 2 cents:

The strip mall location hides a true gem in Hollywood that is Thai Classic massage. Once inside, the environment is very soothing and well appointed. The staff is wonderful--very skilled and very friendly. I've never been disappointed. The massage area is clean, comfortable and even the air smells good with a relaxing fragrance.

Before I was paying $60 to a massage therapist at my chiropractor, and I could only afford to go infrequently. Now, I get massaged once or twice weekly without breaking the bank. My body and my wallet thank me for trying this place after every visit!

Please try them out. I want their business to survive so I can continue to enjoy it for many years to come. They provide a great value in their service and I highly recommend them to you.

An excellent massage, very gentle and relaxing, including rub down with hot towels and use of arometherapy and heat massage lotions. Felt a little awkward when first walking in. For some reason, they keep the door locked all the time. When you first enter, there are usually about 3 girls there, and they sort of give you the once over.

But they do give you bottled water when you leave.

Dont be put off by the mini mall location. Once in side you will be pleasantly surprised. I have been to other Thai massage places, but they dont even compare to Classic Thai Massage. The massage rooms are so nice with beautiful linens and curtains. My massage was great; I opted for the deep tissue on top of the regular Thai massage. I will be back for sure.
