The Cat People rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for Bakersfield's homeless cats. I have the honor of sharing my life with 2 lovely kitties adopted from The Cat People. Mere words cannot express the joy my 2 girls give me each day. I highly recommend any cat lover to adopt a kitty (or 2) from The Cat People! Their kitties have been lovingly socialized in the home of volunteers, are up-to-date on the vaccinations, and are already spayed/neutered prior to adoption if old enough, or adopters receive a voucher to cover the cost when adopting a kitten. Since each kitty lives in a foster home prior to being placed for adoption, The Cat People know each kitty's personality. If you want a lap cat, a playful cat, a cat who prefers to be the only cat, a cat who likes kids or dogs.... They can tell you what kitty matches your lifestyle.
THIS IS A GROUP OF CARING AND EXTRORDINARY PEOPLE! THEY GIVE SO MUCH TO THESE LITTLE CRITTERS! I HAVE GOTTEN THREE KITTIES FROM THEM AND THEY HAVE BEEN THE BEST PETS EVER! THE CAT PEOPLE DO INTERVIEW THE PERSON'S THEY ARE ADOPTING THE CATS TOO, WHICH IS NICE TO KNOW THAT THEY CARE ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY GET GOOD HOMES. THE CATS ARE IMMUNIZED BEFORE YOU ADOPT & YOU GET A CERTIFICATE TO HAVE THEM SPAYED OR NEUTERED IF THEY ARE NOT ALREADY. THE CAT PEOPLE ARE THE GREATEST!
